this seems a bit weird...
I had joined yesterday and when I first signed on I was able to get into my profile page, BUT I wasn't able to edit anything except request a group membership.
I also noticed that I wasn't able to look up other profiles to try to make new friends
At first I thought this was some security thing to protect our personal info from someone just signing up to collect data on us and required a couple posts on the forums first to establish one's self
But now my profile button has completely disappeared! all I have up there now is Home Help Search MyMessages Calendar StaffList and Logout. tried logging back in several times without success.

oh and what is the posts ranking system (ie A has 1500 post and is family, B has 500 posts and is friend, etc) on here?

You had to hit 15 posts to see profiles.  And now you can edit it.

From the announcements forum:

Visitor      From 0-14 posts. Limited rights other than posting or responding to messages. Specific limitations include no ability to view or edit profiles, not being able to send out private messages, and not being able to upload pictures or link to external pictures.
Newbie      From 15-49 posts. Most restrictions removed
Neighbor      From 50-99 posts. Pictures uploaded to the Gallery are automatically approved
Friend      From 100-499 posts. Pictures uploaded to the Gallery are automatically approved
Family      From 500 posts up.

just tried clicking on my name again and it seems to work for now. same with another profile I tried, so far... but still no profile button like my 1st login...
