so i remember how someone was asking for tips on how to masculinise their room, and although i kinda feel like your room should be a natural extension of you and what makes you feel comfortable, regardless of gender, i figured it might be interesting to put up some pics of our rooms in case anyone is looking for some inspiration.  messy rooms included.  i love mine, i think it's kinda gender neutral, but it's my space and it's great to hang out and work in. 

going roughly from left to right- exercise bike, dvd collection, weights, bass guitar, ancient keyboard i never use, random crap on wall, messy bed, cat, tv, mugs piling up, computer, computer desk.  there's also another section behind me that's currently full of cardboard boxes.

I love the way your room looks.  I wish I could be more bare and sparse of a person but I have tons of stuff, most of which I know I won't get rid of because it is crafting stuff (yarn, fabric, etc).  I don't have any current pics, but my fave things about my room are my bed, which my dad put on risers, though we are going to build a loft bed eventually, and two lamps I got at a yard sale Saturday.  I hooked on on my desk, they are lamps like go on a drafting table.

i dunno about sparse, my room feels pretty full, i just like things neat. 

like, all the dvds in alphabetical order....

Love the way your room looks! I wanted my walls white but instead there like a blue gray. I don't like it, but it was better than the color it was before. 

My room desperately needs to be reorganized and it was a mess up until yesterday.

There's also a pig humidifier in my room currently that's really girly and is actually something my sister bought a while back, but I'm using it in hopes it may help my skin not feel as dry and irritated when I sleep. Bah, so disregard the weird pig-shaped apparatus on my dresser.

awesome, a room is incomplete without a guitar and an amp.  my tinyass amp's hidden beside the tv table, you can just see the side of it.

I'm not a very organized person.  I prefer the thrill of trying to find something in my room instead of having everything organized.  It makes it more fun.

my room at home is tiny lol and I'm not there atm so no pics. My room at university is bigger than my box room at home haha

My Dad redecorated my bedroom whilst I was at univ last year for me coming home for the Summer as a surprise lol. It's deep purple one wall and cream the rest of them with purple/pink things everywhere :# apparently he was going to do it blue and yellow kinda colours as they are my favourite but his (then) girlfriend talked him into making it more girly  I'm not out yet so I don't blame him for letting her I guess and I was chuffed with the new furniture he put in aswell so  Still :/ at the girliness though ha (I could change it but it's only me seeing it anyway as my room is too small to have people in)

I like purple...a lot.

Okay lol I just took two photos but then I tripped while walking backwards trying to get more of the room in the shot, and all the galumphing woke up my kid. XD So I'll upload them later. I don't like her seeing my photobucket or email if I can avoid it.

I'm living with my parents at the moment, so my room is a semi-converted stereotypical princess bedroom.  Everything is white and pink.  Can't wait to get my own place again.
