ive talked a ton about sex on here but what teen doesnt talk a ton about sex. so i really want to have sex but i want my first time to be perfect and right now this body is so imperfect im not sure what to do because it would have to be 2years before things would be even close to perfect. any advice, personal anecdotes or anything else?

I know it's a cliche, but when the time is ready, you will know. Don't worry yourself too much about it beforehand, before the specific situation has come up.

Personally, I was already quite a while on T before I was comfortable enough to do anything like that. Took awhile, but at the very least I definitely knew I was ready when the time came. (But there are plenty of guys who are comfortable enough at any stage. I think it's best to strive to be comfortable with ones body at any stage in transition. Life is too short.)

I lucked out, big time. My boyfriend has been my best friend for over 5 years, was the first person I really came out to..Biggest thing I can say really is make sure whoever you're gonna do it with knows you. Really knows you. Because the biggest thing that makes me so comfortable with B, as far as sex is concerned, is that he just knows what's okay and what isn't. Don't try screwing someone who's going to make you feel ever more self-conscious and sick with yourself, I did that for 7 years, and I still feel like a jackass sometimes.

your not an artist first time you paint a picture, or an writter first time you learn to spell, if you exept it to be perfect your pretty likely to be disapointed.

well too me it dosent sound like you all like your body but how much dose it infect you.

I guess if your only have certain things you dont like then you should just make sure with the person your with that you got limits, everyone got that trans or not, well..... sorta...

I set out to have sex very methodically in the beginning. I was annoyed with always hearing about sex in novels or movies or whatever and wanted to know what it was that seemed to so profoundly affect so many humans. I didn't know what to expect my first time.

It's kind of a blur, though. There were four of us on the bed and we'd taken a bunch of psychedelics and drank alcohol, and the music and blacklight and silliness was really a lot more fun than the sex. I was just a kid.

Oh neat. I never thought of it that way. Everybody else around me was like that, so it seemed normal, and I thought I had the most aimless and lame coming of age ever. Haha. Thanks guys. Sometimes I don't notice things that I should be happy about.
