hi , ive been wanting facial feminization for a few years and i have basicly had decided on dr spiegal , as my friends results from him were very nice . she had everything done for 20,000 about 3 years ago . i recently had a consult with him and have been quoted at 39,000  ( the price has doubled in 3 years ) which means it would probably end up costing me more like 50,000 after travel expenses from australia

i am getting some money from my mother next year which should be able to about to about 28,000 with my current savings and i have the possability of saving more . but 39,000 is beyong my limit after travel expenses have been added into it .

ive started looking into thia surgeons espicially dr chetawut , i was wondering if anyone has gone to him and has had positive experiences . and what his prices are currently like . if it is within my price range currently for next year and he delivers good results i feel like it would be a plus over all as i wouldnt have to travel as far and be on the plane for such a long time when im still recovering/ feeling drained from such a big surgery

so basicly what im asking is , would dr chets fees be more reasonable than what ive been quoted with american surgeons and has anyone been to him on here , thats happy with the results

Are you talking in Australian dollars or American dollars?  Ok, NM I just looked and it is pretty close to 1-1.

I just had FFS and a BA with Dr. Z and it wasn't near that much money.

I had surgery on 12/29/2011.  I have a thread here in the FFS sub forum and I also have a page on our farm website

I had everything above minus the cheek implants, but added a saline implant breast augmentation.  If I hadn't had the breast augmentation it would have been more than 10k less that your quote.

wow thats alot. i had all that and it was only 15K with airport transport and room/board for 8 days (and one night in the clinic)

i went to Dr. Lazaro Cardenas. after seeing some of his work (and his wifes nose jobs ) i figured he was the one for me.

Wow, $39,000? I would never be able to afford that.

Rather then look at the works why not decide what are the most important procedures for you to live your life.

As to Dr. C I wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole.  I have been doing my research which seems to be a full time job, but you only have one face. So take your time and haggle with doctor of the price. They may not want to admit it but everyone is having a tough time right now financially. So there are a lot of cancellations they need to fill. Also remember to factor in the cost of the hospital and anesthesia that is a lot of money right there.

You may want to join the ffs group as I have done. You get to see a lot of different doctors work and the stories that go with.

why wouldnt you go to dr c , have you heard bad things ? i was also considering zukowski but the current law suite scares me .

Also consider that he may be MORE careful right now than usual.

Based on what I saw and how I was treated, I would not hesitate to use Dr Z again if I needed anything else.

what did you see , does it come done to personal taste of you not liking the aesthetic results he produces , or did you see obvious deformities / mishapenness ?

yea i guess , defiantly would never want that to happen again , as as far as i understand he seems better priced and less conservative than other surgeon which i like . i want someone who will be a bit aggressive with my nose etc , a lot of surgeons dont seem to do much at all its way to subtle for my liking

i can pnly say good things about Dr C. from the people i have seen that he has done and all. but to each his own.
