I've gained a lot of weight and my tritop is too tight now. I'm still using it because I'm not comfortable when I don't bind, but I need to move up in size. Binders are pricey and I don't want to hit up anyone else for a free one (used Big Brother the first time). Mine is used but still useful.

Anybody know of any binder exchange sites (the internet trans community is a bit over my head for the most part) or have the wrong size themselves? I'm in an XS and I think I need S.

I can probably budget getting a new one in for April, but my chest hurts and I feel foolish binding so tightly.

If I don't work this out before being able to buy another one, then that's another thing I need to figure out. What's the best way to give away a used binder? Do a lot of people need one and not have one? I'd hate to just wave it in the air and make people who wanted and didn't get it feel bad.

I have a feeling this issue may come up in the future so I'm curious about channels for this even that don't help right now.

I don't have any to trade you, but I bet you can get a trade or sell yours real quick. Try ftmgaragesale.livejournal.com. I've had nothing but good experiences using that site. You could probably get away with asking $20 for your binder, as long as it is still decent strength, etc. There are also plenty of people who would be willing to trade, but it seems XS is the least common size that people look for. You will be able to get rid of it to your benefit one way or another, though. Maybe even someone here would need it. Basically, on any website with a trans guy population, there will be demand for binders.

I can't trade you, but I got fat and I'll never fit into my Small again. I'd be happy to give it to you. It's a 997 I believe, black, and it's pretty much as good as new.

Maybe you could see if Big Brothers will trade with you. It's not the same as just getting a binder from them. (Or Caseyy's deal sounds pretty good!)

i dont know if i'd fit an xs...  my 997 is black and small size. i want to get a tri top... what size chest do you have? im 34d...so... idk if i fit that one.

I think when the tritop fit I was 32b. Maybe a.

I'm going to point out now that I did end up with pleurisy by continuing to wear the tritop after bulking up. It's not a life-threatening situation in a youngish and healthy person, but I felt like an idiot. I stopped a few weeks ago and I'd say it took about two weeks to mostly stop hurting.
