Because i'm curious and i want real life experience opinions.

I wana ask about the downstairs op. Has any FTM's here had it? All i've heard is bad things about it, that it isn't up to peoples standards and it's why a lot of FTM's leave this op out. I dont think i will be satisfied until i am 100% physically male.

So... opinions, people. Whats it really like?

I don't know that anyone here has had it. I'm still on the fence and want to give myself another couple of years on T before I can assess whether meta or phallo is for me. Meta gives you sensation, function, and whatever size you've managed to grow on T (so even in the best case scenario, not much). Phallo gives you size, but at the cost of a greater risk of complications, possibility of loss of sensation, and the need for implanted hardware to use it. Also phallo costs more than meta.

I have the further complication of the medical system where I live. At this stage, I'm still fighting them to cover a hysto. They have a track record of refusing to pay for meta at all, and making it darn hard to get covered for a phallo.

So it'll take time for me. I'm not ruling it out, but I want it funded, and I want to have whatever choice I make at that time (*crosses his fingers for more growth*) covered.

Oh yeah, friend of mine had a phallo. He's really happy with it. No complications and all is working as intended. Don't know anyone personally with a meta, just online.
