Hi, I'm a little new here. I've been questioning my gender for a long time, but have only started more actively looking at it recently. The only thing I'm sure of right now is that I'm not a girl. I'm fortunate enough to be surrounded by incredibly supportive people who are helping me get a feel for where my comfort zone lies.

Exploring all of this is a lot less scary now and in the community that I'm in than it would have been a year ago, but it's still kind of terrifying. Allowing myself to be uncertain and unscripted feels very vulnerable, very naked. I'm figuring out the kind of person that I am, rather than the kind of person I'm expected to be. It's a scary road to be on, and I'm glad not to be alone on it.

Hello and welcome from another Aussie.  Lots of good friends, info and support here.
Working out what we are not, is the first step to discovering who we really are, so you are well on the way.  We are all different here, and have  different stories to tell, but have a lot in common too.  Hope to hear more from you.

Karen.

Hi Maybedays, it's nice to meet you! It is a dark and scary path, but here we put up street lights. You will always find someone here to walk with you, or help you up when you've fallen and skinned a knee. See you around, hugs, Devlyn

Hi Maybedays,
Another big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. You are quite safe here to express your feelings or anything else worth expressing. It is quite daunting to feel exposed the way you feel, and I'm so pleased you already have a very supportive framework to help you there. make sure you keep these people, they are an invaluable asset to your groth and sanity.

Just remember, when they are all asleep, and you can't, we are here for you. Someone is bound to be up, ready to listen.

I really hope your stay is long and journey short. Embrace it; it will take you to places you never thought existed, and beyond.

Hope to hear more from you in the time to come, in the meantime be safe, well and happy
Lotsa Huggs
Catherine
