In my situation after SRS I have lost all physical strength as a male a lot probably due to HRT. A lot of people believe Im big and strong and sometimes Im called upon to put out like a man. How do I put a stop to this.

HRT melts your muscles away, so easy. no explantation needed, just say that phrase....

and also if they see you as "hercules", they must be ->-bleeped-<-s... seriously :/

If you present yourself as man, they will threat you as a man. When do you present yourself as a woman?

uh...obviously she presents as a woman now, AFTER GRS, Bird...

Could do the whole try and fail to lift it thing. even fake that you got hurt doing it, or just plain tell them "NO! I'm a girl, not a machine! get He-man over there to do it!"

This problem is really easy to solve, tell them to go ask a man to help and eventually they will figure it out.

I know Kira personally, she's very petite and quite feminine. Unfortunately she is living in a place where she is surrounded by ignorant rednecks who have discovered that they can bully on her. Kira, take the women's advice and tell them no and to get a man to do it.

Yup... just say "No!! Who do you think I am??!" and when they say something along the lines of what your muscles used to be, just say "Does it look like I have any muscles?!"

Or when they ask you, you could always do it but not before you get some help. If it's really heavy, appear to struggle with it. They'll get the hint eventually.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

Mmm... I worry that it's more of a humiliation attempt. They obviously see you as your old self still. I run into that at work too. There are people who just won't stop callin me by my old name or pronouns.  It irritates and depresses me and they know it.
Kira, you are a lady. If those meatheads want you to lift all that weight, they can lift it themselves. No sense breaking your back over them.

I thought more about this last night and I remembered a couple of woman who were new in town and had only met me a couple of times asked me to help move a washer and a dryer, and I fell for it. I went and moved the washer and dryer, that set my head back a couple of weeks. That was about a year ago.  Last week someone asked me if I would help them move, I just looked at them and walked away. I will be seeing that person this morning and if she asks again I will tell her that she needs to get a man to help her. I am not a man and my truck is not for hire.

It seems that somehow we all need to bash the sides off that box that they have us in inside their heads so that they get a lightbulb moment and suddenly realize that we don't live or fit in there anymore! Do it without bashing their head even if the thought appeals to you at times!  ;D

Oh sorry :(, I must have been totally air headed when I answered.

It actually feels / seems like I'm weaker than most women (at least the ones I am around).... :| I get worn out soooo easily, and definitely my strength is not like it used to be. I hear this might be because of the anti-androgens?

I still present as male, but people definitely treat me a lot more carefully / gently now. I'm not really sure what it is that people are picking up on (well, I guess I have moved more "feminine", I get ma'amed now and then).

Girls can be strong.... very strong.

My mother is a 62 year old woman, who easily does all sorts of farm work and throws around 50 pound bags of grain and other things like that daily.

The idea that women are by default frail and incapable of manual labor is kind of sexist :| Sure, they don't have the raw advantage that testosterone gives a person... but they can definitely be quite strong if they wish to be.

I still can too, but what we were getting at is that her coworkers are abusing her rights by making her do everything for their entertainment regardless if she can safely lift things or not. She was asking for how to get out of that situation...

I was having some heavey equipment delivered to work this week, and the two delivery guys asked if I could give a them a hand, I said sure, walked to the next lab and asked a couple of guys if they could help out. I watched with the other woman.

Maybe it's time to move on to another place.
This is not an environment for a girl with a transsexual past to get a happy life.
It's easier for Americans to move on than for us Europeans, I mean people talk the same language in North America.
When we move we have to talk French or German or Spanish.
You can just leave to NYC or SF....anywhere, no languageproblems or so.
Just go, and find a place where no one knows your past and you can be happy.

I think Annette has a point, too a point. Just like the whole world America is in a financial slump to, so leaving a job may not be realistic for most. If your in a job that you like you may not find that same kind of work if you leave. Leaving is a solution and may be necessary if the job your in is a very masculine occupation. My occupation is very masculine and I have to leave it, I want to leave it. I will work where woman dominate the field and there will be no men asking me to lift something heavy.

I'm not meaning leave everything and go at once but, maybe it's wise to look around, making plans, starting to find a job in another place.
One has to make a start somewhere and today is not a bad time to start, there is the internet, one can always look to find a job somewhere.
Maybe it will take 2 or 3 months, never mind, that means in a certain period you can leave the place and the herculestreatment, it's better than stay and have it for more years.
I did the same, and don't think it was easy, hell no, it was struggling and fighting but when you want something, you have to fight for it.
Only the sun is coming up for free and beside that, it's raining here today.
Everything else has a price in blood sweat and tears, but, we are fighters aren't we?
We only got one life, we have to make the best of it and if you're a woman and people treat you like a man isn't very helpfull to make the best of it.
Trying to change the point of view of the others are mostly not very successfully, they see what they want to see, fighting against that is fighting against windmills.
So, what will stop you, the sky is still the limit.

My mother is about 25% shorter and 36 years older then I am but we are almost equally strong, my only advantage is my height and body mass! Her upper arm muscle is actually slightly thicker then mine (but my upper arm is slightly longer then hers).

Momma Bear (Former friend) Was strong enough to lift a lawn mower off the back of the moving van and set it down on the ground like a bag of groceries. And she almost shoved me through a wall when she helped me move our freezer into our apartment. She is a strong country gal.
