I kept up with all my responsibilities even though I wanted very much to just curl up in a ball and stop trying.

I have to pair that statement with something saner and happier. My daughter got ready so happily this morning, with no meltdowns or growling, that we had like an hour to kill and so we made smoothies. That was fun.

Went to the library and got three books:

• The Ask and The Answer by Patrick Ness
• Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment by James Patterson
• In This Sign by Joanne Greenberg

Went to the bank and cashed the check I got for the remaining balance of my pell grant.

Then went to school and took a test.

And now I'm crocheting an amigurumi of Calcifer from Howl's Moving Castle and watching The United States of Tara on Netflix.

I passed with the new respite provider even though she's a lot older than me and her kid is younger than mine. People are weird. And I rested. I took a shower. I played my kid's game boy. I dealt with my utility accounts. I made arrangements for tomorrow's plans. I talked to people. I tried to deal with my new apartment manager and my lease. Not sure what else but there's someone waiting for me and I should probably get on a bus. I'm still looking for my scrabble set. I'm drunk.

I went to fund-raiser for a local tutoring organization.

Went to my third day of electrology school and learned more about chemical peels? God damm it!!! I want to stick hot needles in people not coat there faces with acid.

Thanks Shantel, and no I was not on Mean Girls but I am seeing a new goal on the horizon. I kind of always wanted to be a bitch, oh wait I am.

I've done next week's reading and labs for my classes, and called my Grandmother. Doing pretty good for only being 4 hours into the day.

I bought a lock for my new bike and did some grocery shopping.

I spent all day in bed with a nice boy. Our relationship is so strange. We have physical comfort with one another because we used to date, but I've changed a lot since then.

He took me to a strip club last night that had naked girls, something we'd always planned to do once I got my ID corrected. The dancers noted my wide-eyed amazement and apparent barely-of-age status. They both had really good taste in music. The bartender was a tiny old lady, which made me grin. I had so so much fun. I wasn't sober though so I kept forgetting to act like a regular straight guy. Dudes in girly bars don't like to be looked up and down by other dudes. There were some sexy lesbians there too, but I wasn't even on their radar when I wasn't blocking a pool shot or something.

I actually only tipped a dollar, but my friend let me give the girls his tips. And I paid $5 for less than a full pint of beer. The girls were so pretty, so healthy and so obviously in control. It's so weird to watch that kind of thing without reciprocating.

I did some crocheting, went to therapy, and watched people on Tumblr make fun of Rick Santorum. A day well spent.
