You have an increased chance of heart disease on HRT. This can be particularly related to Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT). If you get pains, cramp like, in your calves and particularly if they are also painful to touch, call an ambulance. Other symptoms are much the same, possible shortness of breath, tingling in the arms, either or both. sharp pain in the upper back , pain in the chest, dizziness, blurring of vision, loss or stumbling of speech, sudden roaring in the ears. All of these are high alerts and you need an ambulance, you do not need a drive to the ER, you do not walk to the ER, or catch public transport. You need an Ambulance.
MVP itself should not, as far as I'm aware, and this is personal opinion only, be affected by HRT. Obviously your anxiety levels may well be affected that may be reflected in your concerns. Sudden chest pain is common in MVP but if there is an increase above what you normally feel, and more regularly, then that is a concern, and seek treatment. MVP tends to be Familial, and it can help to see how your female relatives with the condition have 'travelled'
The side affects of HRT are not, as far as I know, and again PO, on the heart itself. They are more on blood coagulation, thrombotic conditions rather than heart disease. But obviously there are links.
Do talk to your endocrinologist and treating doctor. I suspect you would be in their eye sights anyway.
As I said these comments are personal and are not professional opinion.
