There is this guy I see frequently when I go to McDonalds for lunch (which is quite often). He works the drive-thru. I really didn't think much at first but recently I'm thinking he's FTM. He's a handsome guy but there's something about his face that makes it look feminine. I think it's his smooth forehead with no prominent brow bone plus his smile.

Yesterday he was taking orders from outside and I payed close attention to his body and even though he had a jacket on, his shoulders were small and overall his body didn't look all that masculine. I don't remember seeing any breasts though. I'll take a closer look next time.

Either way, he seems cool and really nice. I would love to be his friend but straight out asking if he's FTM would be rude, wouldn't it? Lol. Oh wellz, just thought I'd share.

Maybe it would be better if you respected them and "didn't stare".
Nameless here for evermore!;  Merely this, and nothing more;
Tis the wind and nothing more!;  Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore!!"

It doesn't really matter if he's "FtM" or not. Staring and trying to figure out what's between someone's legs is creepy and really rude.

Yea, I mean you can't tell me you'd be uncomfortable with someone gawking at you trying to figure you out. Start playing on the same team here. :(

He got closer to me today and I think you're right. Lol.

By the way people, I wasn't staring just casually looking which is what eyes do.

I agree this seems rude and would think a TG would know better than to work at trying to clock someone. Seriously imagine if you thought you were really passing well and someone came up and said "You're quite convincing but I know you are FTM". And what if you're wrong? It's sorta like asking an over weight women when her baby is due. Actually it's worse. And no, "I payed close attention to his body" is not casually looking.

You people are uptight and you're making it into a big deal, she didn't make it a point to stare at him up and down while she had his attention, and she already said that she knows better than to ask him if he's FTM or not. Stop criticizing her.

I meant my post as a friendly nudge, like telling a friend that someone is bad news.

Personally I wouldn't mind if someone flat out asked i I was trans, as long as it was discreetly and politely.
I'd most likely giggle and say ''I sure am.'' And I'd answer any question they had, again they have to stay nice and open minded.
But I doubt many people would take it so lightly to be asked such a question. And if the person you ask is cis... awkward XD

If someone stares enough to make me uncomfortable; I'll stare right back, and smile until they get uncomfortable too.
It's whatever.

Oh and don't forget Jen, most transguys bind their titties.
So you can look but might never see any.

This, and guess what, men have ALL different types of bodies, they aren't all broad-shouldered, cave man brow, super butch uber men.

I'm usually good at identifying trans men because I am one and the "signs" are easier to recognize when you have them, yourself.

Height, facial bone structure (look for high cheek bones and rounder jaw line), voice, skin texture and muscle mass (look at upper arms) are indications but the last 3 only apply when they're not on T. Also check if you can see any ridges of a binder through the back of their shirt.

I'm not saying that it matters, though. Whether or not he's trans is kinda irrelevant since he's a stranger. And do not ask him; I would be offended if I was ever asked that.

I'd be more than fine with them asking, I would actually feel admired if they did.

Ya'll really need to stop trying to make me out as a evil person. It's just curiosity. And I wouldn't say it like that. Heck, I don't even plan on asking him because I don't know how he'll take it. As for me, I wouldn't care as long as it was done politely.
