Hey everyone,

It's been a weird little journey to this discovery of being transgender.  I think part of the reason it took me so long to come out was because a trans friend of mine had told me that if you don't have surgery, you're not trans.  I do plan to have surgery but just top, and I don't plan on taking any T.

A quick bit about me:

I'm 27 and from Canada.  I'd describe my style as punk meets preppy...well, on days when I'm not just bumming around in whatever I feel like pulling on.  I'm big into reading, writing, gaming...I write my own web-comic (I don't do the artwork myself).  I enjoy walks on the beach and sarcasm. 

Right now I'm working at a call center.  But I'm a radio DJ by profession.  I used to work mornings for about 6 years, then 1 year of afternoon drive.  I was on disability for a year for being sexually harassed in the work place.

So...yeah.  That's about it for now.  I look forward to getting to know you all.

Without regard to your gender, that's already an interesting combination.  I can't wait until you have 15+ posts and put up your avatar.

Bonjour Sgt Deux-Deux. 
And welcome from the Aussie side of the pond.  As for your "friend", they haven't a clue.  There are lots of girls who have chosen to be non-op for a variety of reasons, and they are still women.  They just have anomalous anatomy. 
Hope to read more posts from you.  With a nom de plume like that, you aren't a Habs fan are you?

Welcome, Sarge, from Merrie Englande - the truth is, you get to decide what trans means to you, and then live it. I too look forward to the photos - punk/preppy sounds worth seeing... and I hope you don't have too much difficulty getting top surgery without being on T, if that's what you want. Doctors can be rigid about their own expectations and interpretations of trans.

Not much of a hockey fan, blasphemy from a partially French Canadian.  The name is actually a reference to the original Pink Panther cartoon.  Sgt. Deux-Deux was Clousea's Spanish assistant (for lack of better term).  He was always getting the words wrong... "Don't say 'ci' say 'oui'."
