  Ok first thing you need to do is get those eyebrows thinned out and arched, next I would shave that facial hair because it's kinda hard to judge how you look as female with a beard.

  As for the makeup, just start with the basics and work your way up.

  1. Foundation - I use either MAC Studio Fix or Maybellines Dream Matte Mousse with Dream Matte powder to set it.
  2. Eyeliner - Eye pencils are easy for beginners, I use MAC Eye Kohl.
  3. Mascara - I use Maybellines The Falsies in black drama.
  4. Eye Shadow - Start with more neutral shades. Again I use MAC, their eye shadow's are absolutely beautiful!
  5. Blush - Just dap a little on your cheekbones.

  Once you learn the basics then you can start practicing highlighting and contouring etc.

Hi and welcome from the bottom of the world. 

Beverley has just covered all the basics, and saved you many quid (we used to have real money in Oz too;)) Laser worked well for me. The pain was well worth it.

Apart from that, expect your first efforts to be garish and a bit over the top, much like a 13 y/o girl's experimenting.  Any cisgengered girls your own age you are out to would be a good source of help and advice.  It will depend on your personal taste too.  If you are Emo or Goth, the sky is the limit of course!

I have found that "less is more" is very true for me, and rarely use anything more than moisturiser, mascara, occassional eye liner, and lipstick. I figure it's hard to be a "lipstick lesbian" if I am not wearing at least that.

You will eventually settle on your own personal style.  Main thing is, as always with being a girl, have fun!
