I'll be 1 month on T tomorrow!  :) I've noticed some changes, but I've noticed my voice hasn't changed either at all or hardly at all. I'm wondering if this is normal? I know, I know, changes come at different times for different people, but I'm just concerned I'm not doing it right or something. Like I'm injecting wrong or something. Ok, so when I inject I push a little T out of the needle to get all the bubbles out, I then inject. Sometimes T comes out of the injection site. It gets a little oily. So I'm worried something is wrong or I'm not injecting right.

I don't know if we can post youtube videos or not, but this is a pre-T video:

and this one is 1 week shy of 1 month:

I was lazy and never made voice recordings before starting T, even though I meant to. Again, if we aren't allowed to post youtube videos please feel free to edit it. Thanks!

That is normal and expected for only one month. Your voice actually has changed a bit, and mine didn't change literally at all until 3.5 months. Your milage may vary.

To prevent the T from coming back out, hold the needle in the injection site for 5-10 seconds after injecting. I always do this and it's never come back out.

In my experience, few guys get really significant changes in four weeks. They'll get scratchy throat, slight shifts, hoarseness, and so forth. Some guys do get lucky and hit the jackpot right away, but they seem to be in the minority.

It also depends on your genetics and your dose, of course. I hear some guys complaining that they're not getting big changes at, say, three months, and then it turns out they're on a very low dose. Other guys are on a full dose and take that long (or longer) to start noticing changes. And, as you say, everyone's different.

It's hard to fight the anxiety about vocal changes, but try to sit back and enjoy the ride. Very few guys have trouble getting a male-range voice.

One more thing--some of us literally fight the changes and unconsciously keep our voices higher, maybe because it's what we're used to.

Darrin, from what I've read and been told, voice changes only usually become noticeable at and after month 3 with full dosage.  As you said, everyone is different, but it's unlikely that you're doing anything wrong.  I have been on T since January and have only just begun to notice subtle voice changes - no dramatic breaking or huge drops, just a little lower and not in the male range yet.

You're doing just fine, Darrin! I'm the same amount of time in as you and if it is any reassurance, my voice hasnt yet changed either! In fact, I haven't had very many changes at all so far (then again, I think many of my changes I probably won't notice until time has passed). So I would say we are both doing just fine. I worry sometimes too that I am not injecting right or it "isn't working", which is probably completely normal to worry about. Perhaps we both need to chill out and enjoy the ride rather than worry, lol. It would probably do us a lot of good.

Totally normal, it's different for everyone like you said. My voice didn't noticeably change until the 3 months mark. I notice yours changed a bit though
