I can't say that Naruto is that exciting. I tried to get into it but there are other anime that I find more appealing, Like Ghost in the shell or even Macross frontier. Now, if you abridge Naruto, it's funny as heck....



But MLP is a cute change of pace. I was thinking back to my childhood earlier and I guess I had a good balance going. I played with MLP toys at a friends house but I had transformers at home. Boys toys always seemed to be able to do more, like had more articulation in them than girls toys. anyone notice that? Like the GI Joe figures vs Barbie.

I will say this though, either I've gotten dumber or the transformers have employed the guys who make the rubiks puzzles, because I bought Movie Optimus Prime for my son a couple of years ago. It took me half an hour and a youtube video to turn it into a truck! But MLP seems to have stayed the same... if a little smaller?

Idk my point was that I get a kick out of naruto even though lots of people don't like it, same as you all are allowed to like mlp even though lots of people don't. I'd talk anime but I don't want to hijack the thread lol.

And the best "transformer" toy me and my brother had was this sweet power ranger megazord that turned into six animal robots when you took it apart. A bull, cheetah, eagle, lion, shark and something else I think.  It was mad cool.

Agreed. I was never a Naruto fan, I just couldn't get into it. I loved Transformer toys though, especially the animal themed robots. Was also a big Hot Wheel fan. Hmm I wonder if my liking "boy toys" has anything to do with my ->-bleeped-<-.

On a different note LOL I'm amused at how this thread is still going thanks a ton for the brony support, guys!

Lol sup, major brony here. I actually run a small business with a pegasister up at college selling customized my little pony dolls. I'm not sure if I can have a favorite pony. I love them all too much. But lately, I really adore Sweetie-bot (fanon from Friendship is Witchcraft).
I haven't had any problems explaining the fact that yes, I like ponies, and yes, I'm still a guy to anybody, luckily. Or I would have to send them to the moooon.
