hi all

Who has had fairly minor burring of the forehead rather than reconstruction, especially with Dr Z, and did you have it endoscopically? I am interested in having my fairly minor bossing smoothed out. I have seen how powerful reconstructions can be in opening up the eyes, BUT i really am not keen on the flattened look, which can result, and the overly aggressive shaving down of the eye socket. I just want a smooth forehead as in photos i find the light bounces off the bossing even though it is slight. I really would like to do this endoscopically to avoid the scar and I know Dr Z is the only one who does this.

I can see in the profile xray that there is some thickness or bone in front of my sinus, but it is not masses, and a shave would seem to be taking me pretty close to the limit of what would be safe. It looks (hard to estimate)that you could get maybe 2-3mm. It's hard to imagine if that would take the bossing down to a flat level or not. Does Dr Z worry about shaving too close to the sinus and in that case do you think he would not want to do the shaving to anyone unless they had ultra thick bone in front of the sinus?

Do you think it easy enough to get the shaving even, especially if using the endoscopic incision where presumably things are going to be more tricky generally? I worry about dents or remaining odd bump.

If anyone has had some minor shaving would they be happy to share their photos? I want to get an idea of how much difference it might make. the photos on Dr Z's website show more dramatic forehead work than a mere smoothing out of bossing.

And I really don't want a brow lift, but notice Dr Z seems to favour higher brows. Do you think he would be flexible in this. I have found in consults that surgeons tend to like to do things in a certain way and it is difficult to persuade them otherwise if you don't share the same aesthetic.

Also, should I worry about the currently lawsuit thing going on with Dr Z ???
