Original plan: go for a hike, lift weights, clean, and meet up with people.
End result: lay in bed feeling crappy.
Oh I'm a lucky man to count on both hands the ones I love

Well that's no bueno. Get better soon!

I on the other hand, got to go see a brand new person! :-D My husband's buddy's wife had their second son today, so we got to go visit. Neon red baby, so odd. Kid was practically glow-in-the-dark :o I've never seen one that bright, and I'm beginning to wonder if he'll have super powers :D
What the hell was that?!                 From every wound there is a scar,
Spaceball 1.                                     and every scar tells a story.
*gasp* They've gone to plaid!        A story that says,
                                                        "I survived."

I felt a lot better midday today, so I got my cleaning done, went to a friend's recital, met up with some people for dinner/cupcakes, and strolled around in the sunshine enjoying said cupcake.

Biscuit, if it does start glowing in the dark, let me know.  I have a bulb burned out in the bathroom that could use an energy efficient replacement.

I had my nails done in an iridescent pink shade, toes and fingers, for the GLBTIQ party on Saturday night up in Launceston.   I get shellac as it lasts many times longer than laquer, and doesn't make your nails go yellow.

Looks hot!  Hopefully it will be noticed.  >:-)

I drank 4 cups of coffee and played my daughter's game boy. I also did some apartment hunting (online) and packing and cleaning. It's stressful. When I realized how stressed I was I stopped and read some stories in a fairy tale book. That was nice. Despite all the racism and misogyny I kinda miss the old storybooks, the ones that were mostly folk tales or at least unattached to copyright and marketing.

I'm about to cut my hair. My friend gave me this haircut - and I'm going to try to alter it according to an instructables page. http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Cut-Hair---Buzzer-Method/?ALLSTEPS

went to town, checked my mail, then to the bank to get some cash, then to piggly wiggly to pay power and get some things, ran into my neighbor there and avoided a few other people just so I didn't have to stop to chat, lol. Did have a nice chat with the cashier, didn't know her, but apparently she is related to some people I have known for years. Then came back to my town and bought some lottery tickets and gas.

Still lots more to do though.

Today I went shopping and bought a pink polo shirt (affectionately dubbed "the gayest shirt ever") and a pair of plaid dress pants. Also did some college research. I'm not looking forward to having to do the whole admissions process over again.

It's still in progress, but I'm at the blood bank doing a platelet donation.

Mostly dealt with my grandmother being admitted to the hospital.  I also baked cookies and signed up for a PCAT prep course.  Later on I'm having dinner with my brother and going blues dancing.  Not exactly a thrilling day, but I'll take it.

I got my Easter dinner menu planned out.

My daughter won't be able to make it. But, my son and ex-wife will be there. Three out of four isn't bad.
