Dana Lane Taylor is someone you also need to stay away from. When I spoke at the Transgender Day of Remembrance at Upenn two years ago, she was there. I think she does groundkeeping or data entry or something at UPenn. The things she had said there that night alienated her from the entire room of people. The things she say in various websites gets her banned.
Before I came here, I was involved in two TG websites. Both sites banned her in a matter of a couple months. SHe is a very destructive person who has a very warped view about many things.
I have no idea if Dana has been here yet, but if she ever does sign up, be careful and most of all...don't take the things she says about you seriously. Her words are poison. She is part of those concerning group of trans people that feels if you look like a guy in a dress then you are a guy in a dress. If you don't have surgery then you are a guy in a dress. They view gender based upon surface issues rather than what is deeper than the skin.
The ironic thing is, Dana has all of these views about men in dresses but she will not have surgery...so, in a sense, she is going against her very own beliefs...but she has a reason that only she can figure out.
Yeah, she makes my getting a Ph.D. at the university she is working at a pain in my #%@*&
