any greater Sac MTF people or nice groups in the area?

sorta of new in the region, I do go to SF a lot to visit my daughter but with traffic and gas what it is now it would be nice to meet some like minded understanding sisters here

I will try them again, a month ago I signed up and sent emails but have not heard back from them yet at all, wasnt sure if they are not very active or what.

Michelle, did you ever find a support group in the area?  I'm from the Sacramento area and will also be looking for a group when i get back from my wonderful-not military vacation.  Was curious if you had any suggestions for groups - now that you've been in town for a bit?

A few weeks ago I came across a link to a LGBT support group in downtown sac.  Also saw the link from earlier.  It'll be a few months before i can attend any meetings, but I'll let you know when I do how they are if your interested.

I realize I'm bumping an old thread, but I figured I'd post since it's relevant to me.

I'm in the greater Sacramento area as well. 

Not so sure about any support groups that exist, though I'm looking at River City Gems right now.

But I'm open to meeting up locally, if it becomes relevant/convenient for everyone.

6:30-8:00pm Second and Fourth Sundays
The Center's Transsexual Support Group is a peer support group maintained to bring together people undergoing or considering gender transition. Our group has three goals:

To provide and share transition-related information and resources.
To discuss transition issues and to facilitate engaging conversations on transition-related topics.
To create a setting for meeting new people and developing social connections.
The Center's Transsexual Support Group is an all-inclusive place open to people of all genders and/or presentations and at any stage of transition. Anyone thinking about transition, looking for resources, or just wanting to learn more about transition is welcome to come and discuss experiences and life-situations. The small group of 10-20 people meets at the Center on the second and fourth Sundays of each month from 6:30-8pm.
