As the thread reads, is it possible there are some boards that have depressive stuff and i just don't want to see it and get even more sad.

Yes. It's in the ignore boards options. An ignored board won't come up in your unread topics list but you will still be able to see the board on the main page.
If you need help, pm me with which boards you want ignored.
