Also, remember that your voice doesn't change over night and you can work with it as it changes.

I really don't understand all this "Well.....I don't understand how you can put your FEMALE singing voice over transition and T and blah blah blah". More gender policing crap. Listen, if you want to keep your voice and choose not to go on T, some people do that. It's up to YOU, not the trans* community. Do what YOU want.

This.  There is definitely too much gender policing within the trans community.

EyesWideOpen31 is the singer, he's got a great cover of Nirvana- Heart Shaped Box. Also ->-bleeped-<-BoiJacob has some vids up of singing too and I think he's good.

It's a risky bet, but... FTM transition then MTF voice therapy? MIGHT work.

Also, I've "been on T" for a while, but (until recently, actually, but my vocal chords probably have an issue apart from T; looking forward to seeing the doctor) I am/was able to sing female songs fairly well, even though when I relax and lower my voice enough to hate it, I definitely sound male, which shows that I'm not just a lucky one without a male voice.

I still think I want a full male voice when I transition. I... agh I'm confused. I don't know what I want. I went clothes shopping for easter today, all I was thinking about was how much I wanted to wear the cool guy jackets and how I'd look after T in them. Ya im getting off topic again.

Well, if your voice is beautiful before transition, chances are that it'll remain good afterwards, too, especially if you keep practicing.

Of course, but I'm pretty sure he was seeking opinions from others about it... thats why he posted in a forum
