Not useless. If you ever need to measure something to exactly 7.1cm, then you'll know that you only need to apply your left hand index finger to it. ;D

Hehehe, yea! ;D

Heh, well, my boyfriend has the same finger ratio as me (shorter ring finger than index), and he's a normal, quite many, and very well endowed guy. So I don't know. The penis size vs. finger size doesn't seem to hold for everyone. :D

This.  It's definiely not a valid scientific theory.

Of course not--after all, you have just posted a very scientific debunking.

And really, you should be able to tell just by looking at someone what kind of digit ratio they have (well, if you measure accurately).

Yeah-it's definitely linked to testosterone exposure in the womb. The average ratio is 0.99 for a 'woman' and 0.96 for a 'man' (not sure if that would be gender identity or birth-assigned sex...). Ratios above 1 are a longer index finger, ratios below 1 are a longer ring finger.

Me...I'm an FTN. I discovered the finger-digit ratio when I was questioning, and I looked down at my fingers and was all like "EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE NOW!"

I once took a test that said it would figure out my brain sex (it came out as neutral-go figure-though I'm diagnosed autistic and autistics are considered to have extreme male brains, so I'm going with that). It had my finger-digit ratio as one of the questions on that test...I discovered my ratio was 0.85 on my left hand and 0.8 on my right :o

Now that makes me wonder how I ended up with a vagina :D
Pronouns: shi/hir

I was just wondering if it means anything at all, about the length of those 2 fingers.
Someone told me that cis males have longer ring fingers than their pointers.

I'm MtF, my index finger is shorter than my ring finger. My spouse is cis female both of hers are the same length. This is probably just a generalization though!

I like Cindy's interpreting as Bull  ;D

Yeah me too i've noticed Cindy's posts tend to be pretty hilarious  :D

Ive also noticed that depending on if I look at my fingers with my palm towards or away from me my index finger is longer or they are both the same or occasionally my ring finger looks longer.

I was talking to my mom and one of my gal friends about it, they both had their ring fingers longer.

I found out that for my mom, this is only true for one hand, the other follows the rule. Also for me, my right hand's ring finger is significantly longer than my right index, and on my left hand, my ring finger is only slightly longer, but they look the same length.
