This is really just an update about my experiences being 3 weeks into T. I am just shy of getting my fourth shot, and I am having a hard time waiting the next couple of days.

Things I have noticed:
-Increase in stamina. I can run a lot longer than I used to be able to.
-Increase arm strength. I typically do a lot of upper body workouts and hadn't noticed much of anything in the last year. Yesterday though, I filled up the 5 gallon water bottles (I have a water cooler, because drinking the tap water in my house is a death wish) and I noticed that they are certainly not as heavy as they used to be.
-Increased body hair. The hair on my thighs is actually getting darker. I noticed this in the shower this morning. Awesome!
-Increased oil in my skin. This hasn't been too bad, but I have noticed it.
-Captain Bloodsnatch has not come to visit, which is awesome. The coast guard has dwindled in their ability to stop his raids.
-More at peace with myself. I think this a placebo effect, but I feel this huge calm. I don't get as irritated anymore, and I am generally much more open and happy.
-Ability to focus. This one took me surprise. I have been able to focus on work/school work/tedious activities for long periods, without needing a break and without any difficulty whatsoever.

Things I haven't noticed -
-No voice change. Not really expecting this one for a while.
-No increase in body hair anywhere else. Again, this one takes time.
-Not really fat redistribution. Time again.
-No visible muscle increase as of yet.
-No increase of appetite. I've actually had a crazy decrease, and my cravings have tanked. I just crave bacon way more than I used to.

So yeah. I guess I just wanted to share. I was worried about the first few weeks and how my body would take to the sudden influx of hormones, but so far I feel better than I think I ever have. Even if I get some negative side effects, I don't mind at all. I am just happy to have the right hormones in my body.

That is such good news, mate!  Are you keeping a transition journal?  I noticed the same sorts of changes you're talking about in around the same amount of time, so it probably won't be long before you notice some voice and hair changes.  It's definitely exciting stuff!

Yeah, I am keeping probably an overly indepth journal. I try not to read what I have written, because my hope is that in 6 months or a year, I can look back and really see how much I have changed. Its great though, I finally feel more connected to myself. Its hard to describe. I can honestly say I never thought I would be this excited about re-experiencing puberty! :D

Congrats on your changes, too! How far along are you? I am glad to know that these changes are not completely in my head.

One of the most liberating things testosterone brings if I may say so myself!

Congrats on all of your changes as a whole :) . Best wishes in your transition

BACON.

That is all.

I second that! Anything greasy and salty is also favorable. I like to take leftover Chinese white rice, warm it up in the microwave, and lather it with butter and salt. But I liked that before T as well.

The red tide stopped for me as well and I am only about two months in. I really wasn't expecting for it to stop so soon! I haven't had that since I started. I wish my voice would change more, but it is very early in the game for that, ha. I haven't noticed a change in body hair but I am already a hairy person so I'd only notice if i started getting it on my chest or something.

Henri and I started around the same time.

- I'm getting hairs on my chin.
- Oily face
- Deeper voice (not by much)
- A mustache is coming in
- Black hairs on arms coming in.

That's about it. The red tide seems to have stopped for me as well.

Congrats on the changes so far!  :)

BACON.

That is all.

I was just re-watching Fat Head yesterday and a doctor was talking about how saturated fat is a key component of many hormones including testosterone. They were being critical of diets that cut out lots of fat, particularly saturated fat. It's also crucial in the brain and not getting enough can cause depression.
