Einstein defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results :P

There's no such thing as a perfect calorie level or macro-nutrient ratio for everybody, if something isn't working for you....change it....assess results...change if needed....and so on and so on.

Also with your carbs so low for an extended period of time you may be in what's called ketosis, which on the surface looks like a brilliant way to burn fat - and it is - but only in the short term. Restricting carbs for a long time will trigger the starvation response, even if you're eating enough calories.

You appear to be gaining muscle rather than losing fat, which means you probably need to do more cardio and/or drop your calories...especially protein...a little bit.

If you are going to up your carbs make sure you do it gradually, otherwise your body will grab on to the newly found carbs and store them all away because it's been so used to not getting any.
