The Superintendent of Correctional Services (Susepe) and the NGO Equal-RS, enabled the ->-bleeped-<-s to serve their sentence in separate cells of other prisoners in Central Prison in Porto Alegre (PCPA). The intention is to remove them from the risk and violence, and try to curb human rights violations.

For the director of the Department of Criminal Treatment of Susepe, Ivarlete Guimarães de France, the guarantee of human rights in prison, sexual diversity and homosexual rights are included in the Comprehensive Care Policy as an important part in the care lines singled out the sentence.
