Have you noticed how alot of people in the MTF section fight with each other non-stop more then any of the other section on the board?

Is that supposed to be women debating? Looks more like a male pissing match to me.  ::)

I don't know why but sometimes I get a male vibe when I vist there....

Seriously girls please at least try' n get along with each other and play nice, it's kind of embarrassing.

De-gendering people who are probably insecure about how others perceive them that isn't gonna make anybody listen or respect you.

Ever heard of the fact the female part of the tribe is more emotional?

Well, that's what I guess is the case here quite often.
Males don't enjoy it as much as girls do... should never try and take any part in it, for all I can tell. :)

Girls-talk is often very embarrassing for male expectations... something to take note of, the sooner the better.

Guess why we always move away into the kitchen, um?

If this question were asked by some raving feminist, seeking to 'prove' whatever, I'd understand it.

I can understand how a deaf person must feel when asked why they don't just listen. Or a cripple how it must feel when asked why they don't just choose to walk.

I can't remember the last time I had to expend so much energy resisting the temptation to punch my screen.

I'm sorry, I know we are suppose to try to get along, but your ignorance and stupidity, not to mention your temerity or your dam cheek disgusts me.

Seems somebody mo-betta move out the kitchen already... wow :)

I don't think it's limited to the MTF side, I've been dragged out of brawls in the FTM section, too! Seriously, though, if you look at the forum stats, the Male/Female ratio is nowhere near an equal split. It's just sheer traffic. Hugs, Devlyn

...male vibe

So are you calling the MTF community here men? Women are known to be catty so I don't see how it's any different here.

Exactly. As someone coming from the other side, these threads always amuse me. Seems like some people here put women on a pedestal, like they're always loving and cooperative. The most competitive and drama-filled jobs I've had have been in predominately female offices.

Unfortunately I'm inclined to agree. If anyone refuses to believe what goes on then they should watch the Apprentice on TV - when it gets down to eviction time, the women behave less than admirably and it almost becomes handbags at dawn.

Hormones?  ;)

Yep... all over the place, um.

Pray, I say... there's life after being on hormones? :)

Even humour?

Good to know then, um.

PS: and Amen! to "driven" ... actually amusing - one only got to SEE it though! :)

It is not limited to offices, even out on the production floor there is a lot of drama!  As an engineer I've spent a lot of time in the office area and about as much out in production working amongst women. Women in real life are different than what some social anthropologists would have us believe. From what my wife tells me, female bosses are the worse for a woman. Not only do they spend the day trying to prove they can piss further up a tree than the guys, they ride the women that don't see the point to it.

I agree.   The worst boss I ever had was female because of what you said, and this was just a job at the mini-BX.  Of course you can also get sexist male bosses, like I have right now.  It drives me crazy because he keeps insisting I call a guy to a job that I'm capable of doing myself (and have done myself).

But women do often getting "catty" discussions, but sometimes it's just viewed that way from people who aren't a part of the woman club.  I've probably had discussions with females that could be seen as "catty", but we were all just having a good time and discussing things. -shrug-

LOL hormones and insecure people adding a pinch of internet anonymity. Really it should be pretty obvious...I do find it Ironic though that the content of the original post, was nearly certain to provoke an negative response.

And I will add that pissing matches here have a decidedly feminine tone - a lot of appearance one up man ship and cattiness over how another woman dresses or presents herself (in the cisworld, it's about who's dressing/acting like a slut. Here, it's who's dressing/acting like a drag queen (man).

There's also a heavy age bias is the mtf community very common with ciswomen. With ciswomen, it's who's younger, prettier, had work done, still hot, etc. Mtfs, it's who started earlier (and therefore has more potential of being hot), had FFS, looks most like a cisgirl, etc.
Add puberty level hormones to that and you can end up with a bunch of mean adolescent girls *

And women are more likely to see another woman as the enemy than men are.

Gretchen: Well, I mean, you wouldn't buy a skirt without asking your friends first if it looks good on you.
    Cady: I wouldn't?
Gretchen: Right. Oh, and it's the same with guys. Like, you may think you like someone, but you could be wrong.

see!.....this thread just turns into normal "girl talk"

whats the issue? ;)

I have known so many dominant bossy women over the years that I have just learned how to politely nod and say "uh huh" with a smile as I know when I'm outgunned

Haha yeah you're right I probably should have worded that a little better, it kinda gets me mad though to see all this senseless arguing over silly things when we should be helping each other.

I know alot of women, i'm around women 24/7 where I work and they don't act like that when they argue with each other lol. Just saying people on here need to take other people's advice with a grain of salt and not so worked up. I'm not trying to "provoke" anyone so please stop trying to turn it into that.  ::)
