Just wandering does anyone think that transgenderd people are more evolved spirits? as the world we live in is all about rule and devide. the biggest division seems to be between man and woman. so does the union of bothe the feminine and masculine sides make for a more  evolved  intelegent understanding human being  Just interested how you see it :-\

I really doubt there is any evolutionary advantage to producing a mammal that can't really naturally reproduce.

Truth be told, there are times I think I'm much different than most people.

Most people simply don't think. They have little or no critical thinking skills. Not that I'm so smart or anything, but hey when I encounter someone who has something useful to say, I judge his/her idea based on the evidence, not how radical, different, or just plain odd it might appear.

Most people will wait until a certain number of people say it's an ok idea (the "100th monkey" theory), then they all jump on the bandwagon. That's not thinking, that's a herd mentality.

But simply being trans = more evolved? No, don't think so.
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

I don't think that it is an evolution but rather more of an "adaptation".

Oh, no problem!  :)  I'm not offended. Understand HUGELY about looking for answers and thinking 24/7 about gender issues...

I just thought you were asking about actual evolution" (ie, apes --> humans --> gray aliens  ;) )

Keep on asking questions!! Peace back to you!

i dont think so. I think anyone can have a "higher evolved spirit" and it isn't just specified to a specific group of people.

Besides, some trans people i have ran into...I would not call it an evolved spirit.

I think you misunderstand what evolution is.

I really doubt there is any evolutionary advantage to producing a mammal that can't really naturally reproduce.

With respect, there could be an advantage in a species that lives a largely feral life, has poor or non existent physical protections, where the males necessarily need to spend long periods hunting, away from their females who produce babies.

Leaving your females with a virile male would seem to risk the integrity of your female stock.

Some species, in not dissimilar situations resort to reproductive sacrifice, where those doing certain tasks, hunting for example, sacrifice their opportunities to breed so the rest of the pack can. Hyenas I believe do this and some bees among others.

But it might be equally feasible if the non breeding males were the camp guardians and the breeders, the hunters.

In a species like humans, where the thrill of the hunt can produce the necessary surge on male hormones to allow them to copulate effectively , it seems a distinct possibility.
