I finally got my tax return in for last year!  One of the perils of Transition, selling your house, and moving interstate is you tend to overlook a few things.  Thankfully made it in well before the deadline, and will get a decent cheque too.

Today I went to church.

Gathered and burned another pile of brush from invasive species i have removed near my house and garden. Its starting to look like its natural state with many small natural plants getting a chance to grow and not be strangled by vines or stickers.

Got our brooder all set up with food and water and got the chicks that just hatched loaded in.  We also added three more kiddie pools in the yard area for the ducks and geese.  Of course Lucy the goose had to be petted, snuggled, and nose kissed while the water was filling us since we were out there.

I oversaw the creation of an army of paper pikachus.

I went for a walk twice, drove my sister the hour back to school, got a new hoodie, and got in a fight with my ex. We managed to end it civilly, but I'm still royally pissed.

I've spent a good bit of today trying not to get too angry or miserable. It's not my daughter's fault that I'm still trying to find an apartment, or that I really don't like being interrupted while showering to look at how high pikachu can fly.

Responding because I just tried to start an argument with my ex. Lol he agreed with me before I was ready for him to, so I'm back to not having anyone to be pissed at.

Felix, that is fantastic.

Today I slept in, mowed the lawn, chatted with my neighbor about Scottish music, and studied.  Up for this afternoon is hunting for a western style shirt and square dancing.  Oh, also my friend sent me a link to Norah Jones' new album, so I've been listening to that too.  It's really good.

Went to school

Today was kind of insane. Today was really insane. I think I got an apartment, though. Maybe. We have a cosigner now, so my low income and my friend's under the table job won't be such barriers.

The guy was suspicious of me and my living with a 12 year old and not being employed until he A) learned how old I am, B) learned I am her biological mother, and C) saw the kid in action. Lol she was really hyperactive and weird and disruptive today. I mentioned that we'd moved from alabama, mentioned I had ankle surgery recently, and he really just stopped making assumptions after that. I'm glad he doesn't think I'm a 20 year old stoner or whatever he thought at first.

It was kinda funny when he asked where her mom was. 

Today I ate a slice of pizza.

 Went against the majority and spoke the truth. I feel like i might have opened the eyes of some transitioners and it feels good. 

Stared into the abyss? Life's getting hard. The hows and whys are just details blurring together at this point.

I cleaned and then I went to a friend's coming out party!  So much fun. x3 I just made plans to hang out with a friend next week, too!  I feel so social.

I ate two egg rolls.

Went way overboard digging in the garden and I'm going to pay for it tomorrow. I keep forgetting that I'm strong now, but still out of shape. I felt so studly out there sweating and grunting that I couldn't make myself stop working until my hands started to blister. Oops.

Jack in the Box egg rolls are really good.  Three pack with three sweet 'n sours too.

If I was feeling adventurous, I'd order some jalapeno poppers too, with the house buttermilk dressing.
