Recently I started noticing some things.First I tried to compare ftms to other girls and in 95% of them I noticed different shape of face.I did that with the cis boys and cis girls too and I also noticed that difference.Only not in gays who have it like women, and lesbians who have it like men.Though there is difference also,a small one. When I see pics of others ftms on this pages I notice that difference in also about 95% of them.Though everybody here knows that for some it is just a phase or a thing to do for attention. That might explain that 5%.
Also there is difference between left and right handed persons also in face, and the body figure.
I also sometimes(but I'm still working on that one) can recognize the gender of the person who wrote something(handwriting).
I wonder can any of you do that?

I like to think I can, but really I'm just guessing.

I don't know about left-handed people (although I are one)...but lesbians I can peg from a block away. Don't know how I do it, though. Never been surprised when they "come out" to me.

Gay men? Almost always surprised.

Trans? Only met a few, and all of them I read as "former men."
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

I think there may be some truth to the overall appearence of a person and how they carry themselves that you can pick out a few things about them that give them away as being gay, les,bi,trans. However, I don't like to jump to conclusions and if a person wants to openly discuss it with me, I'm cool with it.
Being me is the way it should be.

Ambisinistrous is where you can't use either hand.

I really cannot say I've ever noticed a facial difference in people who were left-handed or right-handed. Also, I really do not think that gay men have faces like women or that lesbians have faces like men. Amongst cis and trans people, and amongst homo and hetero and bi sexual people there are FAR too many variations that that doesn't really work.

If I read your post wrong, please correct me.

I read something recently, probably on Tumblr so take it for what that's worth to you, that said that in the past, boys and girls were taught different methods for producing cursive in school, and that's why it's "common knowledge" that there is a consistent difference by gender, or that it might be a tell.

At the time, handwriting was a way for people who cared about such things at the time to distinguish writers by class, as well.

Wait, are you saying that people you don't have the right kind of face shape are faking being transgender?   >:(

Tell us more exactly what this face shape looks like.  Also what the differences are in the face and body figure between left handed and right handed people.  You need to provide a very good explanation if you are just going to say these blanket statements.

Oh no! Dont get your boxers in a bunch dood as I think she is merely "thinking aloud." (I hope) :)

I remember years ago I started noticing that most people tend to act the way they look. For instance, a sweet and caring friend may have a caring face,  a nerd has a nerdish apppearance,  a super lesbian may appear quite masculine or at least give unintentional visial cues...and so on. In short it's as if we get cast to play the characters of our very own lives. I guess I'm not the only one to notice the phenomenon of how people often look just how you think they would!

I've thought extensively about the reasons we can so often draw some fairly accurate conclusions based on stereotyping. Clearly there are millions of years of evolutionary cues we use instinctively for survival, for example in identifying healthy mates, or trustworthy friends, but we humans are such complex creatures that it becomes right complicated!!

Judging by appearance is a simple correlation, and of course therefore doesn't prove causation, but it's possible that people either 1) find a social niche based on their self image and perception 2) appearance is effected by factors like health, hormone levels, etc which may just as easily affect changes in mood and brain function and 3) the most likely scenario is some combination of a few elements

Though it maybne tough to admit it EVERYONE uses appearance cues in making judgment calls EVERY DAY...it's a fascinating part of being human!

Often recognize gays, transwomen - transmen i have never met outside of places where i would expect them and therefore had heightened awareness.
But I think you're overestimating your predictive powers - when I look at before pictures of FTMs I often find that their features aren't feminine, that there's something at odds in their faces (as was in my own when presenting as female), but taking a look around me i find many women have some masculine features and most of them aren't trans.

Handwriting seems culturally coded - all the "male" examples on the page linked would be considered feminine handwritings here. All of them are way too pretty ..
