I dont dilate nearly enough probably but at three months and two weeks and dilating twice, sometimes once a day. I am still very tight...

I'm at one year and it is still tight. It does get easier though. I only dilate once every 2 or  3 days now. Its still tight but no longer that uncomfortable.

The only advice I can give is keep doing it, and take your time. Try warming things up by massaging about inside first with your fingers. If you have a smaller dilator you can use that to ease into your session.

nothing wrong with a tight pussy!

your only dilating 1 time a day sometimes? at 3 months post op? No wonder your so tight. your vagina is still new you should be doing it atleast 3 times a day i'd say for 45 mins. The more you do it, the easier it's going to be on you.

That said I'm going on two years this July since my surgery and i'm still really tight though it does feel really good that way when I stick a dildo inside :-(.

"Perfect practice makes perfect" :)

I'm 7 month post-op and dilate mostly still 3 times - A DAY!
By now 2 times  A DAY is not going to be an issue I feel.

I use a 40 - 45mm dia. firm vibrator (with veins, mind you) and the vibrating seems to help quite some to open things up.
So then why not consider a SMOOTH vibrator (far less bumpy) and give that a try. You get quite some that are –only- 33mm or even less (but not my advice), in fact most are and aught not to be really painful.
You can always "upgrade" from there later on... if needs be.

My 2 cents,

You've answered your own question.
If you ever intend having penetrative sex then you're going to have to dilate more often and use the largest dilator.
It does get easier, honest!

Hiya Elle,

I too am a Suporn girl and I'd say if you're feeling tight the best thing is to dilate more often, especially early in recovery. The first year -and the first months in particular- are vital. There's not a second chance to get it right when it comes to dilating. When decreasing the frequency of dilation I always made sure that I could still use the Medium without problems and was not getting tight. Though I have to confess I started dilating once a day as early as 2 months PO but that's a whole different story and comparing is useless anyway (the post-op care book repeats it over and over, I know :) )

So I agree with the above, you have answered your own question. One day all the hard work and endeavour will pay off. Best of luck and I hope things will get easier soon. :)

xx Sweetie

If you're getting clitoral sensation, I'd advise stimulating it if you're in the mood, not to be too graphic, but often before I dilate, I get in the mood and masturbate until climax. At that point, the vagina becomes lubricated and the dilator is easier to insert. As others have mentioned, as vibrator can help too. Also, it pays to ensure that the dilator is inserted right in and pushes against the wall to stretch it, which may seem obvious, but it can be easy to let it slip out a bit when holding it for a long period of time.
It takes balls to go through SRS!
