My Boss, HR and I have decided that I'll be coming out to the other employees tomorrow officially.  Not too worried as I've been pretty much dressing as a professional business woman for the last few weeks.  I've had full makeup on  this week including nail polish though fairly tame nail polish.  As I told the HR guy, I've pretty much have been full out for the last week and a half.   You know I could not have done this in southern georgia , but in northern California, it's appearently no big deal.

I had been doing tweeks on my appearence for the last 2 months, working up to full business womans dress a week and a half ago.  I've had foundation and mascara on for two weeks and full makeup on this week. So while I've changed gradually (HR knew what I was doing for the last month) everyone else just saw small changes each week.  Though once the blouse was on the bra was much easier to see.  I've been wearing bra's full time to work for the last month.

Anyway,  I'll be offically fulltime starting tomorrow, but I've really been fulltime for 3-4 weeks

I will post an update tomorrow evening.  Not two worried as my boss have been pretty supportive.

Bye for now

It's good to hear that your transistion at work is going so well. I agree that northern CA is a very accepting environment for transition. I haven't come out at in all aspects of my life yet, but success stories like yours help me be positive on my own future.

Hugs,

Rhonda

Good for you, Beni.  With a confident attitude and the way you've been easing into it already, sounds like there should be no problems.

As an FYI, I had a friend who transitioned in a small south Georgia town and had no problems at all.

Wow, What a day.

I was well more then a little on edge this morning, even though I've been out pretty much for a week and a half,  Having  everyone knowing for sure that I am TS was worry some.   It's a small 16 person engineering firm.   This morning everyone was coming to grips with Beni.   By 2 PM we were all old friends again.  It's very nice to see how hard people are working to make me feel relaxed.  It's been a great day.  I am just so happy tonight.  I had to celibrate by going shopping for some new tops and dress pants. Of course the best things were on the 80% off racks,  YES.  I love $6.00 Tops that look great.

I'm flying pretty high at the moment.  Tomorrow  night I think  I'll be having a little party and burning the last guy shirts I own.  I am a very happy girl today.
