After several months on spiro-only I got a puffy "olive" under the nipples. About a 2 months in E it was the size of gulf ball, and now -7 months into E- is the size of a tangerine.

I noticed that most of the growth seems oriented towards the armpit (axila), and it is bigger in one side (ipsilateral). Also to keep in mind is that since I am a 42 band, my tangerines do not seem so big: Einstein strikes again.

Um, it's complicated. ;)

I was on a fairly low dose of E for almost a year before an anti-androgen (Spiro) was added. Once Spiro was I had rapid development to a B-cup (about three weeks), which probably had something to with the course of E previously, even though I had no noticeable physical effects on it.

End of month five today...and have golf ball size bumps under both areola. My areole/nipples have gotten about 60% bigger over the last 3-4 months. Pretty sore/sensitive to touch around month 4 and so far has only gotten more sensitive with growth. I could feel the ducts building around the 'bud' @month 4 very uncomfortable. In the last few days I have been able to see them(my breasts) in the mirror while raising both arms...and sometimes I lactate(usually if nipples are pushed, but sometimes with no prompting)

BTW finally feels like you get some of the puberty you missed the first time around = )

Karii Cloud: If you lactate, you should see a doctor. It MIGHT (but then again might not) be a sign of a health issue that is rather serious.

As for the original question, I'll just quote my blog post:

HRT: 74 days (2,5 months)

Breasts

Since I last posted, I've had an intense episode of tickly, itchy nipples, for one week. I guess it marked the beginning of actual growth. Nothing is really visible yet, eh, but since then, the area tends to be painful on contact/pressure. I also notice some kind of stiff tissue building up the whole area, but more specifically the areola and a little around it (if I try to pinch it, there's obviously something below, and it hurts; plus the whole area feels like I have super thick skin on touch).

I guess mammary/lactation tissue is starting to appear. I have still seen no sign of the fatty "buds" reputed to mark the beginning of growth. I'm not in any hurry, though.

I noticed the budding after about a month. Little puffy and sensitive and slightly painful when poked. 3-4 months in I had to get sports bras because jogging without one had gotten very uncomfortably bouncy. I remember the docs who check on me every 3 months were surprised at my areolae. They got larger and a lighter pink and softer. 5-6 months I went fulltime and had noticable breasts and they started being less conical and filling out. That's still going on now at ~1 year. Growing in all dimensions. Started HRT at 24 (immediate average dose of Estradiol and Androcur)

That's interesting. I think I have almost the exact setup as you in terms of HRT, except I started a little younger (21). At one month, I did notice my areolas growing in height (not diameter), but after a little over 2.5 months, whilst glandular tissue seems to be growing, no sign of fatty tissue in the area yet.

I guess it really does vary a lot!

About a couple weeks in I got a lump that hurt like crazy if I bumped it... I've learned to be careful ever since.

Maybe the 1 month mark I noticed that cone shape and I was excited cuz I was getting breasts.

I wanna say around 4 months was when I could legitimately fit into an A cup.

About 7 months in I fully filled an A cup, and they're steadily growing still @ the start of month 8.
To dream of the person you would like to be is to waste the person you are.

A year and a half on a reasonable to high dose has yet to get me to an A-cup, but I'm pretty sure that's just because I'm underweight... and it's not likely genes.

My boobs came in about 40 years before hrt.

But the second they got the bioidentical girl juice, yikes.

@Karii, you are probably experiencing galactorrhea, but you should probably get it checked.
Been there.

After 1 year and 2 months, I've almost filled out an A-cup. *sigh*

They started coming in after 2-3 months, I think. By 6-7 months they were pretty noticable and now after 14 months they're about an A.

EDIT: Now that you've got me thinking about it; does anyone else's areolas kinda puff out a bit (or alot)? My sister said it wasn't normal, so I'm kinda scared they'll always be like that.

How many did not have any fatty tissue build-up at months 2-3, but still ended up with something at least okay later on? How long did it take? And how old were you?

Reading the testimonies of how people who got something good seem to have had growth that begun early as well, I'm sort of getting pessimistic, with just my sensitive nipples and little bits of stiff tissue coming, with still no bulge or anything. I'm in no hurry, but I am concerned with the final results.

Id say about 3 weeks I noticed nipples becoming more sensitive.  I'd bump a wall on my nipples and want to scream but id have to bite my lip because "guys dont scream from nipple bumps" so had to play it cool with my friends.  A little after that i started getting a little knot under them.  At the point im at now areolas are a lil bigger than where they started, nipples noticably poke out of my shirts and kinda point down a little.  Im at 2 months and have been on regular dose of spiro and low dose of E.
I may side with the angels, but don't think for one second that I'm one of them.

after about a week my nipples became sensitive... after about 3 weeks i felt a lump starting grow under my nipple and nipples starting expanding to a more female look..  I started wearing sports bra at this point to help protect my growing breast.

A-cup came around the 3 month mark and at this time i stopped wearing sports bra's and started wearing everyday bras.. now I am about a 1 and 4 months in.. and I have lovely C-cup breasts.. I love my boobs.. I wear plenty of low cut tops to show off my clevage.

Enjoying ride the hormones are giving me... finally becoming the woman I always knew I was

I'm pretty much a large A or a small B, somewhere in there I think. That's after 7 months and having had moobs before I started. ;D
