This has kind of become the Reelmagik thread so I hope this is an okay place to ask this.

I've been looking into the 4.5" Reelmagik prosthetic and I was leaning towards the advanced prosthetic because I want the hair and color matching chart, but I can't tell of a difference with the "enhanced detail realistic paint job" and if I don't get it I'll save about $80. 

I was wondering if anyone can tell of a difference between the paint jobs. I looked at the photos and the advanced and basic paint jobs look exactly the same to me.

I wondered the same thing, EliJames.  I think the veins are little more detailed and the balls have a deeper color, if that makes sense.  Like, it's not all kind of one-dimensional or flat.  Not very good with art/paint terms. 

You could always email them ask exactly what they do for the detailed paint job.

If you look for Reelmagik on YouTube they have videos of the prosthetics, which include videos on either the 6 or 8 I think, or maybe both in basic print jobs. On their website they only show videos of the advanced, so those might give you a better idea. The basic looks paler with less detail, and the head and balls are a similar colour to the shaft. Hope this helps!

As Elliot said, it's easy to see the differences between paint jobs in their youtube videos. The basic paint job is nowhere near as detailed, but it still looks awesome.

Yes, I'm excited for it as well.  My guess is that it's likely similar to the current 4.5" prosthetic but without a tab and without as much detail and material/skin movement.  Probably closer to the GV packer than the Mr Limpy.  But that's all speculation at this point!

Is there such a thing as "sexual stealth"? The closest thing to being 'stealth' sexually I could think of would be to tell someone that you lost your original junk in an accident, or find some other way to explain the prosthetic. Not to expect the prosthetic to pass as a biological penis.

I would not expect even the best prostheses currently available to hold up under close inspection. Assume that anyone with whom you are intimate is going to know that it is a prosthetic.

I remember reading something about a guy who had sex using this prosthetic without disclosing his situation.  Also, there are guys with excellent results post-op meta and phallo who are stealth or have the potential to be stealth in their sex lives.  So, yes it's possible but rare.

I was referring mostly to people without surgical alteration who are looking to prostheses as an alternative.

One guy having had sex with someone who couldn't tell the difference notwithstanding, I wouldn't put money on it. (Not to say I wouldn't buy the prosthetic, I mean I wouldn't count on someone not being able to tell).

I'm not sure where you see people claiming that a stealth sex life is definitely possible with a prosthetic?

I genuinely would have faith in the reelmagik if it was a drunken fumbling sort of one night stand, obviously if they're going to ask you to drop your pants and inspect, or your hoping to marry them and never tell them, there may be an issue. But in terms of the looks and feel, and the kind of encounters people my age have, although it's not my thing, I think you could be sexually stealth in a suitable situation.

I got the standard version of the 4.5 and the paint job looks very realistic, i almost feel like more would be over doing it? I don't kno I've never seen the advanced paint job in person but the standard looks just like the pics on the site. It looks VERY good in person, very satisfied.

As far as stealthness, it's very real, you could easily pass with your pants down so long as the tab is hidden somehow. On closer inspection it still looks very real honestly It also feels a lot like skin... I think slightly drunken somewhat dim lighting and you could get away with going stealth for a one night stand, though the way the ball barrings work  to get "hard" if someone handled it to roughly they may think they broke your dick XD (it kind of makes a snapping noise and well snaps into a new position...though your partner would have to be pretty rough with it to move its position during sex). and the obvious, it can't cum.

It is not a stand to pee device and cannot be safely converted to an stp.  You would have to buy and use one separately.

For their glue how long can you leave it on? Do you need to remove it everyday and clean or can you just leave it on and keep adding glue on the sides?How long does a bottle last? The glue seems pretty expensive...

I can't afford this, but the reviews are interesting.
What I'm really interested in is their "basic packer" and I'd be interested to hear from someone who knows anything about it.

There IS a review on the basic packer. I didn't put it here as it is a different thing entirely. And I gave it a different name so people could find it (oh well!). Anyway, since the review is visible on this page look for a "First Review of the Reel Magik Basic Packer". It is a pretty thorough review, IMO. I think that might be the ONLY review of it, AFAIK.

I want to get one of the Realmagic penis, I was wondering if it still feels good during sex if you havent been going through the process of FTM transition? I have always felt like I am a male trapped in a females body but never told anyone that, I am butch and wear strap  On but I would like to wear something that looks real. I guess my question is I think I read that when you take testosterone your clit grows 1to 2 inches, so if I obviously have a clit that is not enlarged will it still feel good during sex if my clit is not enlarged?  Thanks. 

Hello everyone. Thanks for all the info about this product. I'm sort-of looking at the 6" and have some questions. Is it safe to wear in the water (fresh, salt and chlorinated)? Would it harm the prosthetic in any way? I'm sure it depends on the glue, but how long does the hold last wearing it continuously, including in the bath? Does the paint job stay well? I'd hate for the paint job to wear off quickly (or at all). Is wearing the 6" with briefs comfortable enough? I despise boxers and don't like boxer briefs. However, if briefs are too constricting I don't want to go Commando since it would cause unnecessary friction and wear on the prosthetic. I'm also curious about the bulge since I'd want to wear it continuously.

Before buying this, make sure you understand what the circumference or diameter is and decide if that size is okay with you (or possibly your partner).  It will be too big for some people.  I wish they had a couple options of different sizes for diameter.

Feel free to comment on this comment, but my sense is that this model is in more of a sexual position and less of a storage position (a relevant comment for anyone reading this before buying).

The most impressive things about this model are that the color is extremely realistic with freckles and variation in tone, the layers and feel, and that the adhesive works.

Update: Reel Majik says that they improved foreskin and hair.  I would like to know what other trans guys think of these "improvements."
