*nods* I think some of this is a language thing, English now only has "It, Them, One, and They" as pronouns that aren't gender specific. In contrast with some other languages where there is a lot more flexibility in this area.  Then the inner unknown bias to associate people with one gender or another without thinking it.

But yeah, Watching the entire video it's more about trying to make a more "vague" gender option, which ironically (or maybe intended) the end clip shows how far away from that we as English speaking people are.

In effort to support us I gave them an A; in accuracy I give them an F. The statements about Thailand are misleading, transsexual Thai's are not allowed to change their gender designation in official papers even after SRS! It is also pretty awful they keep tallking about sex and gender as if they were interchangeable.

I don't like it. It mostly seems to want to other all of us as a group and using thailand as a basis for the kind of acceptance we need is way off. As another poster said, they aren't even allowed to change their gender designation after full surgery and they are still called some form of feminine boy and such. That's not the kind of acceptance we need as a group.

And I still don't know what motivates the op with any of this stuff, I just know I don't trust them to be sincere in anything at this point.

I met a Ladyboys Group a few years ago and they were a great bunch of youngsters who were enjoying the dancinga dn performing and had the idea of getting srs sometime 'in the future'.

Maybe if so many western perverts didn't go to Thailand to have sex with people with penises we'd not hear much about them and they could just get on with changing themselves to whatever they feel they are?
