Devlyn

Did you know that rubbing stainless steel on your fingers takes away the garlic smell? They sell expensive hunks of soap-shaped steel, but they didn't sell one to this girl! I just keep a stainless steel spoon (it has to be high quality steel) by the sink and rub it all over my hands. Works like a charm, and it's easy to tell if you miss a spot, it will still smell like garlic. Hugs, Devlyn

Devlyn,  I love smell of garlic.  It keeps vampires away!

Lately I crush garlic with a square mallet and then scrap crushed garlic into recipe with a knife.

There is NO such thing as too much garlic.  And getting to smell it on your hands is part of the reward of cooking.  The only thing I like the smell of better is ginger.

Scrubbing your hands, cutting board or whichever with a little salt and lemon juice also works.

I only have one thing to say.

Eww.

That is all.

I'll go back to my coffin now. It's approaching sunrise.

I use this to skin the garlic cloves

And I rinse hands with a little lemon juice and liquid soap.

We would want the neighbors to see you sparkling because they might get suspicious ;)  >:-)

Since you have another cool avatar today we promise to just use ginger and peppers if you are ever over for dinner.

Lol, that would be much appreciated, thank you.

And in turn, I promise not to... ummm... feast on your blood and convert you into the undead servants of the night.

...

Okay, well I can't exactly promise, the thirst is very overwhelming. But I will try not to.

...

Actually... it's a crap shoot. Maybe you'll need factor seventy million sunblock the next day. Maybe you won't.

...

Oh what am I saying, I'll bring a straw. *slightly evil grin*

...

Yeah... this is why I don't get invited to dinner much. :-\ Le sigh.

O.K. how many days does it take for me not to eat garlic for my blood to be edible for a vampire?

I will make an exception not to eat garlic just for Sephirah.

But I warn you that if you drink my blood you will fly upside down back to your cave!  :)

Does mad cow affect vampires?
............
Actually I love most spices including ginger and hot peppers and grow fresh herbs outside in garden.  I love Oregano and Basil and Thyme and Rosemary and Mint, etc.

I give it about two weeks, just to be very sure.

And YAY! I've always wanted to try Wendy's. *licks lips* ;)

Doesn't seem to. They're usually a bit peeved, but not what I'd call mad.
