When did your boobs come in after starting hrt?

I went from eating 2000 calories a day to just 500 a day for 42 days while the HCG was releasing another 1500 or so calories per day of stored fat to be used up, I was never hungry. Kind of like a fat eating PacMan. Meanwhile I learned the caloric values of various foods and proper portion sizes and during the finale phase of the 42 day plan my metabolic rate was reset. I lost the initial 24 pounds during the 42 days and have lost the rest since then due to the metabolic reset and observing proper eating habits and exercise. It been a year now and I'm still losing ever so slightly, but it stays off. This HCG came from a compounding pharmacist, there are fakes on the internet, so beware.

As you said it gets a bad rep from stuff on the internet.  So you actually felt it was worthwhile?

The endo I am using now does have a sign up that says they offer a monitored HCG diet plan, but I had just assumed it was just another scam.

Yes absolutely, go for it! I don't know if you saw my torso shot I had used as an avatar on an earlier thread about boobs, it dislayed my boobage, but more importantly it showed off my lean and fit physiology, the results of HCG and time at the local fitness center. I took it down because it was a bit over-the top, I was getting comments.

Actually, by then I was already smoking myself.  And I know I need to quit, I watched my dad and my grandma die from it too. I just have to make up my mind to just stop. And the patch doesn't help, I've tried it along with a number of other methods.

Yea, the problem with patches is that they don't stay lit!
I've never smoked or done any drugs, etc. According to the MMPI I'm in a group that's at risk of substance abuse.

I wore my only B cup bra today. It's really hard to find a 38A bra. But I seem to fill a good deal of my B cup so I might wear that more often so the girls will have room to grow. :p

Try tightening the shoulder straps. That helps "fill" them out slightly.

I've heard that hypnotherapy works well with smokers and other addicted types, you might look into that. Somehow the crux of it all is to get the stubborn brain to click over a notch or two and surrender to the idea. I was able to do it through sheer willpower, but most people just can't so don't feel down over it, just investigate all of your options and make your dearly departed daddy proud that he was able to get the message through to you. We learn good things from parents and also what not to do. I'm sure he wouldn't want you to make the same mistake that he did. You can do it Jaime, go for it girl!

We tried that route, dad, his girlfriend and myself.  His girlfriend finally quit for good while she was in the hospital getting stents put in.  I'll do it eventually, I just have to get my mind into the right place for it.

I know we're getting off subject but I'll submit this last thought on smoking here. A native American friend of mine is forever pissing about how awful the white man was to his people, I told him that he needs to rethink his argument when one considers that the Indians introduced the whites to tobacco and have long since gotten retribution and killed a lot more whites and others not with arrows but with cigarettes!

Jaime, I've never smoked, so perhaps what I'm going to say will sound ridiculous, but related to what you just said, I'd want to offer a little personal experience about smoking in my family.

My mother had smoked for over ten years when she quit around the age of 35(?), when I was more or less 7-9 years old (don't know her birth date by heart, so I can't be sure). Having learned how bad smoking was, and being somewhat stubborn about a few things, I started putting "no smoking" signs around the house, cutting her cigarette packs into two whenever I found them, and put a lot of negative social pressure around her to get her to stop. She then stopped smoking and didn't touch a cigarette for another ten years.

Lesson 1: Being with people who disapprove of smoking helps some people.

My sister started smoking at about 21 years old, under the bad influence of people from the army, despite her being just as against it as I.

Lesson 2: Distance yourself from smokers, at least when they do smoke. For example, don't go out with them when they smoke.

My mother started smoking again about 3 years ago. It started out as "social smoking", then under the influence of my sister and the fact that she had a pack of cigarettes next to her and someone going out to smoke every hour or even more often, it became worse. She now smokes at least 12 cigarettes a day, if I average from what she smokes when I'm there.

Lesson 3: Don't think you limit someone's freedom by not allowing them to smoke near you.

Recently, both my mother and sister stopped smoking together. It lasted one month (more than enough to beat the physical addiction), after which they started again.

Lesson 4: Tell people around you when you stop smoking, and don't let them do crap like "respect your individual choice". Tell them not to allow you to smoke near them.

Both of them tell me they intend to stop; that they just have to put their minds into it. And they don't stop. Well, when they do, it lasts anywhere from 1 day to 1 month.

Lesson 5: Remove "eventually" from your vocabulary when it comes to that. I haven't seen it work.

Whenever they stop and restart, my sister and mother never throw away their lighters, etc. So every time they want to start again, they have everything right under their nose.

Lesson 5: Whenever you make your mind to stop, throw away everything you own that is related to smoking. (Don't worry about the cost; smoking costs you THOUSANDS every year, so what's losing a ten-dollar ashtray and lighter?) You mustn't be able to find a single cigarette, lighter, match, ashtray, etc. if you wanna smoke. Throw away your car's cigarette lighter, too. Nothing you can control must remind you of smoking. Also, when you have the urge to smoke again, it'll be such a pain in the ass to buy all those things again that it might just discourage you.

You should try nicotine inhalators. They're designed to provide the same nicotine, taste and feel (even the moist and temperature) like real cigarette smoke, but they're nowhere as harmful - well, nicotine is arguably not a healthy product, but nothing compared to the rest of products in the smoke. They say they feel EXACTLY like smoking. You can smoke them and gradually reduce the dose, until you're able to only smoke placebo ones, and eventually stop.

The only objection that people have to them is that they're expensive, but honestly, considering the inhuman amount you smoke, I don't think the price difference can be so big.

Oh, yeah, and additional tips that would work on me, but that might only be attributed to my rather strange personality.

-Put into your mind that it's not okay, and even a terrible thing to smoke near anyone, to let anyone breathe the smallest amount of secondary smoke from you. Isolate yourself when you smoke, like it's a punishment. Eventually, you should tend to smoke less.

-Put the focus not on "smoking or not", but on "buying cigarettes or not". Don't overestimate your mental strength. It's much easier to resist going to the convenience store + spend over 10 $ for a pack of cigarettes, than to resist taking a cigarette in your pack and smoke it.

-Never buy cigarettes along with other things. Always make sure you have to walk to the store or something just for that. Make it a pain. Also, always buy the smallest pack available.

-You might also want to ask the clerk of your local store not to allow you to buy cigarettes even if you ask.

Some people also find it's a great help to put in a pot/account all the money they should have spent on smoking but didn't, and save it for a project, like a trip in the South, or maybe some transition expense you might still have in front of you. That, or offer themselves a restaurant+theater night a week, for example.

I hope I helped. I really think of smoking as a tragedy, and I hope you're able to stop, "eventually" ;).

Well, a lot of that is difficult as I have friends that I care a lot about that smoke and the biggest is that I am a store clerk, so I sell them all day long.  I have a few customers that want to quit too, and when I know they want to quit, I will sometimes question their decision to buy more. 

I am working on removing some of the stresses from my life and once that is done, I think I can set them aside a bit easier at that point.

And I'll stop with this on this thread as it is off topic. Sorry to the op for that.

My girls started growing about few months after starting spiro and oestrogen when I noticed they we sore all the time but they remained tiny as I was always doing alot of cycling at the time and any fat gain was burnt off on long hard rides.
It wasn't till I was off the bike all together for a year that the girls started there second attempt as the muscle mass dropped and the body gained weigh (fat) they got bigger now there a nice 18c 8 years after starting HRt..

I had small ones before hrt but they where so small that it looked like I was just a strong man.


2 weeks in I could see a slight difference in the shape but nothing big.


Now at 4 weeks+ they hurt and start to get alot more puffier. I can feel a lump under the nipples :).

Still no boobs for me. I have gone through a phase where I didn't care if I grew anymore or not - similar to a current, recent phase for not caring if I get SRS or not - because I knew that I likely wouldn't be getting any besides surgery (which is years on the horizon as far as I can tell). Yay for coping mechanisms.

After 9 months, EVERYBODY is noticing mine, lol. They're big enough to give me more pass points imo. When someone figures out I'm trans (mostly new friends met through someone who knows... for some reason he likes to see if they could tell) they're like "Did you pay for those? Are those silicone?" Nope... my own DNA did that :D
