Chances are that 6 months of HRT were more than enough to impede your body's ability to produce healthy levels of hormones - which would mean that if it doesn't come back, you would be dependent upon HRT, and stopping your treatment will endanger your health, probably.
But you're not trapped into MTF HRT forever, eh. With your doctor, you can determine a follow-up to see if your body can get your levels back to a normal male's, or find a way to help it doing so, or start androgen HRT to replace the T you have lost.
But yeah, it's definitely not adviseable to stop on your own.
It's not what you asked, but I would like to add that if you had genuine feelings that conducted to starting HRT, it would be better to see a therapist and make sure you've figured yourself out entirely before stopping. Because both going back to feeling very bad due to increased GID and going on and off HRT repeatedly are unhealthy.
