My ftm friend is planning on taking T in 2-3 years, and he's also planning on getting rhinoplasty. He wants and plans to get rhinoplasty before starting T, but he's wondering if T will change his nose back to the way it was before. Thanks on advance for your help.

Encourage him to talk to his endocrinologist (?) about that decision. It seems to me as an ignorant layman that you'd want to see what T does first and then decide if you still want a nose job, and if so, it might change what he wants, but the doctor would know better.

T is not going to cause his nose to revert back to the way it was.

T can make some guys' noses grow - the only problem I could think of would be his nose growing on T after rhinoplasty (not back into its original shape, obviously) and thus causing tension in already strained blood vessels - resulting in the frequent nosebleeds which people who have had rhinoplasty at a young age also report.

On the other hand his nose will not necessarily grow on T, and there's the possibility that his jawline, hairline etc. will change and that his nose will look just right with those changed features whereas a smaller nose might look out of proportion.

On a side note, I used to hate my nose, but i believe it really helps me pass, and have grown to like it for this reason.
