So, how many of you get insurance coverage for your blood tests, doctor's visits and hormones?  My doctor is saying insurance will not cover any of it and I have a personal plan with a major insurance company.  I had a physical last week last week which was covered but go back next week to get blood work and prescriptions.

A lot of it depends on how it is filed.

My PCP visits are ALWAYS covered.

Blood tests are covered every 6 months, but I had to pay for the extra set I needed in December for Dr. Z.

The endo doesn't take insurance and I'm honestly afraid to file it so I pay his $150 each six months out of pocket.

My prescriptions have also been covered so far.
