I go out once a week, and I've noticed that I'm drinking less and getting drunk to the same level, in fact I match my best friend and she is 15kg lighter then me.  I am enjoying the cheap nights, but find myself been so much more cautious.  Has any one else had to adjust their drinking when they go out?

Im going to have to curb in my drinking. Being a student, Alcohol and I used to have an intimate relationship but I can't drink anywhere near as much as before. Also, drinking whilst being on hormones is making me a quivering wreck! I've found myself bursting into tears for no logical reason whilst under the influence :\

Yep I remember my student days, definitely a bad mix with HRT :)  Yep I'm finding emotional out bursts interesting when drunk, and my friends are been nice but I know I have to gain some control over things, as the triggers have been so random!

I'm exactly the same! I never used to cry before but in the past month i've become a sobbing wreck twice and found myself storming off MUCH more than I used to! Some of my friends know about me transitioning and some don't, so the unsuspecting ones must be beginning to hate me  :P!

Yep the melodramatic storming off is so much fun!  That is till about 2 minutes later when I think I'm been stupid and end up crying  ::)  Fortunately everyone knows about me, and it has happened mainly towards girls, who all find it amusing; once I calm down!
