Just watching a soap from May 1999 and in one scene they have one of the cast crossdressed as old lady charity flag seller.
The three main characters walk past and s->-bleeped-<- about 'That'  Then there are a few more comments on the 'That' theme.
The series is set and filmed about ten miles from me so it is no wonder the locals are so transphobic.
It would be a waste of time asking the broadcasting company to blank out the short sections as they add nothing but a bit of transphobic titillation to the show.
