I made friends with my roommate and went grocery shopping. I did the dishes and washed my wrist brace. I put the calendar on the wall. I collected all the snails (can't tell if they're alive or not) from my daughter's bedroom. I did my pushups for the first time since I got sick.

Did my first motorcycle club track ride-day and it was awesome. Still high from it!

I washed my dishes in the bathtub because my kitchen sink is clogged. I also cleaned the kitchen and plotted world domination.

I woke up discovered I'd won the lottery so I got a bath and then proceeded straight to the Ferrari garage near me. I couldn't decide on red or dark blue but I went with dark blue eventually. Then I took my mum house hunting, I'm going to pay off the mortgage on there old one and stay there because I like it. Then we went and booked a holiday to the carribean for a few weeks. I also rang my best mate because we want to go to China and Japan so we'll be looking into that over the next few days.

If only....I went to work all day.

Had a great morning at church and a productive session with my therapist this afternoon. I'm currently finishing dinner so my son can take me to see The Avengers.

House chores and gardening  :)   This tends to be a common occurrence for me this time of year

I took my daughter for her first-ever paid haircut, and then ate and walked around. I got her a sparkly headband for her new hairdo, and she got a paddleball toy at the dollar store that she named "Allball" (after Koko's kitten) and gave a personality to.

We watched part of a documentary about tunnels. I did a lot of unpacking and cleaning and making plans I don't have the energy for. :)

I saw, and talked to someone I was pretty good friends with for a number of years in my youth and he had utterly no awareness of who I was. None. Not a flicker of recognition.

That was a very odd encounter since he had barely changed.

Did you tell him who you were later? He probably thought "How does this very attractive lady know me??"  ???

We finally got clearance on the mold tests so we can start to rebuild our kitchen (dishwasher had leaked and soaked the subfloor and caused mold).  Unfortunately they took up the tile flooring in order to dry the subfloor and seal off all the mold.  So last night we got the last of the supplies we needed.  We slept really late today so by the time we started working on the new tile it was after noon.  We took a break and got cleaned up for dinner out (since we don't have a kitchen), but we started working again when we got home.  We finally finished up at a bit after 11pm.

It has to dry tomorrow and then on Monday we will put down the grout.  We should have someone mid week come out to measure for new cabinets and countertops so we can send a quote to the insurance to get them replaced.
Blessed Be!

Felix

My kid was up very late last night (with diarrhea and nightmares, which is an unfair combination) and my roommate was up very early (to go to work), so today was strange. I got to bed at like 3am and back up at like 6, and then when Leah went to sleep at noon I did too, and then I got up at 3ish and I woke her at 5pm. She went to bed and fell asleep immediately at 9:30. Which is just a bunch of numbers, I know.

Today I only wore one ankle brace, and today I sorted and got rid of lots of old unhappiness. Paperwork, writings, drawings, photos. I hashed out some things with my roommate. I did some dishes. I did my pushups and stretching, and I was friendly to my neighbors.
