I would like to ignore a user but i don't know how/forgot, please help! thanks in advance
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain, I like watchin' the puddles gather rain.

Despite all my rage, I'm still just a rat in a cage

In your profile there's a "buddies/ignore list", where you can put who you wish to not see their posts (although it won't completely make them go away because of quoting of posts).
Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur. Happy kitty, sleepy kitty, purr, purr, purr.

That's a very good question.

I've wondered about the same since I just don't like personal messages out of the blue begging for an opinion about one's looks being passable or not....

Also if they are posting offensive posts report them to the Mods and we will deal with them

Click on your profile. You have a series of options (right hand side) that can exclude different forums etc and you can select people you do not want to see posts from, you can change it any time, it isn't locked on.

But if you are upset about posts PLEASE let the Mods know. Otherwise we are lost in knowing what you guys are offended by. We need not ban them etc, we can just talk to them. Sometimes people don't realise what they are posting is offensive. We are not a hit squad, we moderate the board for you. Often telling a person that their post is offensive solves the problem totally. They were not aware of it.

She sent me a pvt message plus a set of pics a couple of weeks ago. Begging for an opinion about her looks being passable or not.
I didn't reply since she's a complete stranger to me....seemed to me she was randomly sending pvt messages  plus pics.
I found that very obtrusive.

I will deal with this matter publicly.
Not to cause any embarrassment to anyone but for an example of the rules.

Susan's is a privately owned support site for TG people of any persuasion. Susan has made rules that her site is to live by. She has Mods to govern those rules.

TG people can be very emotional about many things. Some are crippled by their emotions. Many of us grow and support each other. Some of us cannot do that.

If you cannot at the moment support then do not insult. Look at the other persons view. Why are they crying in the dark. Why are they screaming for acceptance? If you are strong, why? Can you give that strength to your sister or brother? If you can, should you? If you cannot what should you do? Insult them? Ignore them? Chastise them? Or maybe some where inside us is a tiny candle, it's called love. Oh dear we can reach out and offer love.

Honestly what would you prefer to have done to you. And know tell me what you would prefer to do to others.

I will not impose penalties but I expect people to think.

I love you both

It's not a big deal she also sent me stuff and I answered.

 I'm locking this topic.

It is an example of how we do not deal with each other.

We are a support site. I will keep it that way

Please use the report pm option on the messages in question.
