How may of you here have used it? I use it on my legs and sure the smell sucks but my legs feel as smooth as when shave.

I used to use it, but the last time I got burn.  Now I ether shave or wax.  Depends on my mood.

Too much trouble, easier to just shave once a week or so for me.

I used it several times but I don't anymore.  It just seems like a bad idea to put something on your skin that is so toxic.  A couple of times I burned myself a little.  Worst thing is it didn't last a month before my hair grew back like it claimed.  Waxing and epilating gives me too many ingrown hairs. Shaving is easiest for me.

You have to really watch your times. If the instructions say to leave it on no more than 5 minutes, they mean it! Let me tell you, chemical burns hurt! When I got a burn on my chest that took several weeks to fade completely, I swore off the stuff; never again!

Also be very careful if you have any area of skin where you've applied topical steroid cream in the past (to treat a fungal patch, for example) - the skin will be thinner and can burn very badly.

I use the one for sensitive skin... and works amazingly good...
however, there was a time when I got curious and used it on my face. The thing burnt a layer of skin around my mouth. Was so embarrassing, that I had to use a tonne of concealer just to hide the scabs.
So lesson here is: DON'T PUT IT ON FACE!!!

Never ever ever let these products close to your eyes. They will blind you instantly.

I've using Nair on my legs and arms and shoulders. While the stench was nearly unbearable, it seemed very effective.

It burnt my arms, and played merry hell with my shoulders.

These days, I just shave. Once a week seems good enough for my legs, arms & shoulders.

I bled. It was no fun at all. That was the last time I used that stuff - and anyway, it's a really horrible chemical to be pouring into the water system every few weeks.

You remind me of a news article I read the other day in which an expert said Americans are exposed to something like 30,000 different basic chemicals, but only a few hundred have ever been tested for toxic effects on humans. In the US chemical companies have very little government regulation compared to the rest of the 1st world countries.

I'm trying it, I bought a larger sized bottle some months ago and have tried it twice, neither attempt was really successful, and I don't think I'll be buying another bottle of the stuff. But it's not that bad for me anyway, been trying it on my chest which worried me at first but besides some small burning it's okay and leaves me smelling nice. But I honestly think once I get a job I'll just wax or something much better.

The problem is I don't know how to get the even coating it says you need, I'm in a rush to put it on becasue I don't want burnt palms XDX

Wear plastic gloves, the disposable kind. It doesn't have to be that even BTW. I use it on my legs and arms every now and again. Don't wash it off, wipe it off and then shower. I do wipe it off in the shower cubicle and then soak myself in nice body wash. Moisturise after wards of course.

I used the stuff ages ago but the smell always gave me head aches, them I just realised it was easier to go to a salon and get then waxed, but I just shave them now, there is no mess and 5 minutes or less they done

Like most that have posted here, I tried this once & never again. Not easy to spread evenly, probably ran some over 5 minutes, it was hit and miss on hair removal and some slight burning. I use Venus blade shaving legs.

I have fair skin and light hair color and I cant imagine even using that stuff!

I just shave and thats not bad at all, nice and smooth in the morn but by late evening I can feel stuble on my legs...I can deal with that

Went out with plenty of cis girls over the years whose legs felt like a bristle brush and I sure dont want to be like that, lol

I may have used Nair once or twice in my life. I'm not really enamored of it. I don't like razors and resulting stubble either. I prefer exfoliation and mechanical epilation and waxing, when I can be bothered, like every 4 months. I think I may have clocked up 12 months once.

Just say no to any type of hair removal that is not FDA approved.
