Had my Approval appointment at CAMH yesterday.  The verdict:  APPROVED!!  Not only that, but I had a consult at the Brassard clinic on Tuesday, with Dr. Maud Belanger, because I was in town to visit a friend who'd had her surgery May 16.  Got to fill out the intake/medical history questionnaire, and also found out that they are currently booking surgeries in OCTOBER!!  THIS year!!  And since I just got approved, I'm  hoping things will line up to give me a surgery date in November, or maybe early December at the latest!  I was expecting perhaps February, March or April.  This is FANTASTIC!!  ;D ;D ;D

Edit:  BTW, my new avatar pic was taken just before heading out to CAMH yesterday!

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
