I'm sorry, but I'm kind of confused about the choices.  Is the "it" supposed to be the front hole?  Or the neophallus/phallo?

I don't get the initial question at all.
The way it's set up is almost as if it's asking a person who was born without a penis whether he feels better with or without his penis.
Usually, if he identifies as male, he will say he feels better with it and as long as he is not asexual he will likely use it.
Meow.

Yes, the question is for people born without penis, but the question is not if they wold feel better with one. The question is aimed at the will of changing vagina, and that how they feel about it.

Option for people still considering or want phallo (as it is now) or prefer meta instead (and don't use the front hole)?

At this point, I have a constant debate with myself over whether I should stick with prosthetics or get a meta.  But sometimes, like today, I feel the need for a phallo.  Generally, I'm leaning more toward bottom surgery with a preference for meta, knowing I could get a phallo later.

ETA:  So I think my progress will likely go like this:  Medical prosthetic (within 1 year) > Meta/hysto (within 2-5 years) > Possible phallo later on if necessary

If it gets big enough down there , I will have a meta. If not then I will get the phallo.
Ive always felt very disconnected from my body since being a teenager so it doesnt really
effect me what I have....I dont know how to describe it. It just doesnt seem to fully register
thats my body.

At first I wanted the phalloplasty but now I am leaning more towards the meta only.

I have a lot of stretched veins on my body and it seems that I am getting more scars so that could be not aesthetically pleasing as the donor site.

Also sensation is very important to me.  Unless there are techniques now that can replicate spongey tissue from the donor site and will give me erogenous sensation instead of tactile sensation then I don't see myself getting the phalloplasty.  If the medical advances were there for that to happen then I would gladly get the phalloplasty and go through all of those stages and expensive procedures even with a scared and broken veined penis.  Otherwise to me personally chances are it won't be worth it.

My plan is to go for a metoidioplasty with the urethral lengthening/hook up with a scrotoplasty and vaginectomy.  Bonus points of they can give me an uncut look.  It may be on the small side but I'll pump and lose weight so it will look bigger.

I know that I need bottom surgery.  I got too much dysphoria downstairs to keep what I have.

I'm still hoping for future medical advances though.

I went into transition thinking I would not need bottom surgery, but now I am constantly considering my options in the back of my head. You could say growth on T left me wanting more.

I do not pack and I don't want prosthetics or STP's. I just can't stand all the extra hassle they bring. I need something of my own flesh that, frankly, stays put. But still, the phalloplasty that is available in my country at the moment? No freaking way. Actually I'm not even sure if they still do it, because of their complication rates, I will ask them about their progress when I go there for top-surgery consultation next week.
Does feel likely I'd start with meta.

I'm personally not going for anything. I feel like my discomfort with my genitals is minimal. I can honestly see myself living the rest of my life without any surgical alteration of my naughty bits and it not being a big problem. From time to time I'll look at surgical option and how the results look. While I like what I see, I just can't see myself needing it. That and the thought of surgery on my genitals is absolutely horrifying @_@. I don't know why, but the thought of a scalpel anywhere near the no-no zone makes me want to vomit ;_;. God bless those of you that can get past that.

If I had the money I would get a phallo.

Maybe because there are a lot of nerves down there and there is a real risk that you will end up with something that looks more appealing but isn't as functional for enjoying sex?

(A lot of you guys are probably too young to get that reference.)

But I'm just speculating.  ;)

Uhhhh, I don't think this is completely about phallo...or it's mostly not about phallo. I actually know a guy that had phallo and kept his extra hole. For the sake of not triggering myself, I'm just going to use the word "genitals" to refer to the entire crotch-region, and "front hole" for the orifice that's there.

My genitals and I are bros (finally). I had moderate discomfort with what I had but T has improved that situation. My front hole in particular has changed in a way that I'm not so happy with. I used to really enjoy it, we'd have a blasty blast but there's been a few complications lately due to T. So, in general the whole region and I are cool, I'm kinda "meh" on having an extra hole, but all in all, it's not really a big deal. It exists and that's about it.

I feel that phallo and meta have higher success rates, and way more satisfactory results than what people think. I'd wager most folks don't do the research, and now with Dr. Brownstein retiring, his replacement is said to have shadowed some of the Serbian surgeons for lower surgery (which means great results are likely).

So...I personally don't feel like I'll be getting any surgery (I don't intend on having top surgery either) but feel that could change in the future.

OTHER NOTE: I have limited sensation as it is, so losing the little I have would be very bad.

I'm not going to answer the survey 'cause it's a little confusing to me but my option would be (if, in the fantasy situation that I had the money) I'd go for meta. If you're talking about the 'front hole', I'm planning on getting a hysterectomy too. I wouldn't get one without the other though and since starting testosterone my confidence has gone up fantastically. I value sexual sensation over aesthetics, I think.

In addition to this a lot of the photos out there are of the unfinished product, maybe step 1 or 2 of a 3 or 4 step process.

I hate my "natural bits" - don't look at them, don't like to touch them, won't even let my wife see them.

I plan on having a phallo - but because of funds, I'll also probably start off with the metoidioplasty then upgrade.  I don't give a rat's ass about an aesthetically-perfect dick - I just want something that is permanently attached to my body, that resembles a cock and I can piss through.  I am willing to sacrifice all sexual feeling "down there" for that.

Sadly urethral lengthening. One of the things that is very likely to get a lot of complications. I know one surgeon who give the option to lengthen to the testicles which allows for peeing while standing and has less complications.

Im going for the Phalloplasty. I actually had another consultation with the surgeon, Mr Christopher in London on Monday, and now Im just "waiting for the call" (Im so frikkin excited!!!!).
Id agree that alot of people just seem not to have done much research and/or seen recent pictures of recent results.

There are a few different types of phallo, such as forearm, abdominal, thigh, latissimuss dorsi. And they can increase the potential of developing erogenous sensation throughout the created penis. With the forearm op, you end up with the best sensation since they take various nerves and veins and hook them up, including to one of the nerves from the *clit*.
However, Im going for the abdominal. Im getting the urethroplasty, which I knew I had to go for personally, and yes, it is common to get complications, or atleast things that need sorting and touching up afterward, but much of it will either clear on its own, or only require a small touch by the surgeon.

Meta would give the best sensation, but for me personally, I wouldnt be satisfied with the size.

In terms of the "front hole", yeah, I dont get why anyone would want to acknowledge or use it at all. As part  of my phalloplasty surgery, in the 3rd and final stage, Im getting all that wrong crap removed and sewn and made to look male.  ;D

There is a British series called "My Transsexual Summer"

In one episode (Episode 3), there is an explanation of the FtM bottom surgery, showing the results

That's strange, when I did my research, I ve checked the serbian hospital, the most famous one for srs and I asked the best surgeon in my country, and both said they dont leave the front hole, they refuse if someone wants their front hole to be kept, in case of meta and phallo either.
