Hi girls, I'm newbie about this, maybe some expert could explain it well, is that possible do SRS and FFS at once surgery (at the same time)? how about the procedure, is that brake some rules or something?
And could be, the package price would be cheaper also, does anyone here has this experience?

Thank you so much girls, I need some advice

I would think the risk of losing to much blood would be high in the event there was a complication... Outside of that the only thing I would be O.O about would be recovery time. Not only would you feel like a Mack Truck ran you over from crotch to face, it'd probably feel like they put it in reverse just to make sure to do the job well enough.

That's just my thought though.

I can't imagine you could safely do both since FFS can be a very time consuming set of procedures.  I think it would add to too long under anesthesia.

I think it would depend on what type of procedure(s) you were having done. For example, Suporn's site says that SRS can be done along with one FFS procedure, at his discretion, but a full FFS isn't possible.

Some 'small-ish' FFS procedure as maybe a chin-reduction I recall, may be OK.
Anything like fully involved FFS, brow-ridge, full face lift, rhino plasty, etc. .... NO!

I would be worried that the doctor would become tired, and I'd end up with a nose job on my [censored] and a hole in the middle of my face.  :o

Honey, funny as ever :)

Actually one be working the bottom and another surgeon the top (FFS). That was the initial plan I had organized for chin reduction and SRS...
It fell through due to my brain op required after an aneurism some 2 ½ month before having SRS.

Asking for the BA option, that was declined also as it would have added ~ 2 hours to the SRS op time - which as it turned out was about 7.5 hours.
That, SRS and BA, would have been done by the same surgeon...
9.5 hours under?
Definately not such a good idea with yet 2 more general anaesthetics planned to follow during the next 7 days.
So... a lot also depends on the time taken for SRS - my best guess.

hihihi, thanks Jamie.
I don't even think that would be done with the same doctor (SRS and FFS)....hihi, if yes, probably you're right :)

Even if they do offer it, I would avoid. Srs on its own is enough trauma to your body, no need in adding even more at the same time.

And now I'm thinking of all those commercials about bundling cable services. lol

Michelle.

I believe Suporn does a version this as a package. IIRC, the FFS is done towards the end of the SRS recovery period. I believe you would leave Thailand some two weeks later than SRS alone.

Thank you so much sister Michelle, this is great information.

Your answer is YES. When I had my SRS an other girl had SRS and full FFS. They did it in different days but she finally recovered from both surgeries. Funny enough she was not in much pain or discomfort. And of course if you do them both at the same time you get a better price as well :)

Thxs Swan, great information, I would like to do also, btw, do you know the girl who faced this, so maybe I could get more information from her?
Swan, thanks, I thought the same, and I think not only get better price but reduce a lot of cost for travelling to thailand, reduce time, make it simply recovery juct once pain for both surgeries and no need twice.
Thanks for your great sharing Swan
