Last night Nikki's and mine boxer passed away. We've been crying so much and have been very depressed. We buried our dog at her parents house in the backyard. Any ways I feel like it took our dog passing away to bring us closer together. We haven't fought at all and have been holding eachother and wiping each others tears away. Is this how it usually happens, having a devastating event happen to bring you closer to the one you love?

Sometimes it does, yes, because it makes you realise that life is too short and precious to be overcome with petty squabbles, and that the important things like being close and sharing a connection are what matters most in the time you have.

*big hug* I'm really, really sorry for your loss, sweetie. I've been in that place myself, twice, so I know the pain you both must be feeling.

Above all... remember: you are beautiful, you are valuable, and you have a shining spark of magnificence within you. Don't let anyone take that from you. Embrace who you are. <3
