I use to ask this question all the time, so I figured I'd post an answer now that I've been told.
Of course this is going to be very ballpark but it may give you guys an idea if you're wondering.
How it's going to break down for me, no insurance involved:
First appointment: Blood work. Two different vials and two different tests (one to test estrogen levels, the other to test T levels). $71.90 each so roughly $145. Plus the doctor's appointment to get the blood drawn, about $35. Random fees that the bloodwork lab is going to charge, up to $20.
So the first appointment will equal out to about $190-200
Second appointment: Physical exam, $25. General fee, $35. Testosterone(note that I am NOT giving a dosage, as I don't know what my dosage will be yet, I'm just saying how the T is sold: 200ml in 10ml vials, including syringes. Has to be shipped in from Portland.), $50. Injection, $10.
Second appointment will equal about $120
Two more appointments to teach me how to self-inject and then to make sure I'm doing it right: $35 for each appointment, $10 for each injection. Equaling $90.
Altogether, $400-410. Appointments are every two weeks.
Then it will taper down to only having to pay for T every once in a while, depending on dosage, and doctor's visits...every once in a while. Not sure how often.
Plus gas money (Dr. is an hour away.)

Anyway, my first appointment isn't until June 11th. Dr. must be good, he's absolutely booked solid (and he isn't the only doctor who will prescribe hormones, either).
