After going to my therapist like normal friday morning, I had an appointment with my gp to hopefully get a referal to this endro that lives like 5 mins. from me. She is currently treating another mtf

, so I figured she has experience and it's
way better than what i'm doing now.
So after hearing how some gp's react to gid I was so incrediby nervous to discuss this with him. First of all I have only seen him twice and those times weren't that great, not that he's a bad doctor, I just wasn't really feeling him.
After 1 1/2 hours of waiting in extreme nervousness, thinking I was going to die in anticipation I was finally seen. To my absolute surprise he didn't react negatively at all, infact he was really passive about it like it was nothing out of the norm. I could as well have said I have a cold. He agreed to write the referal and took the name of the endo I want to see. At the end he did something even more amazing... he put his hand on my shoulder in a comforting was as to say "Don't worry everything will be fine." Needless to say I was blown away. I left his office on such a high. I wish everybody going though this had someone like I do.
Heres to a smooth transition. 1 step down, a whole lot to go!
